I just made my first CPA lead and I'm now so excited!!! Okay, so it's only $1.20, but I've been thinking about CPA recently and was determined to make my first email submit lead before taking it any further. It couldn't have come at a better time because I've just finished my (eipc) landing page for some free trial supplement products which will get me $30 per lead, now I've got all the motivation I need to take this to the next level!

Taking action WORKS!

Free traffic, I'm using a sort of niche poll method, with really crap CTR but 1 in 5 conversion rate (so far), but I've added a call to action early on which should hopefully increase the CTR. We'll see.

Can anyone tell me whats a CPA?

And also tpodds is registered for alsmost a year here. and whats that about $1.20 ???? How long does it take to make reasonable profits? I'd rather pick bottles than do this for a year to get cents.

CPA stands for Cost Per Action and it's when you get paid every time someone completes an action such as fill out a form. I'm guessing he made $1.20 for one completion and even though his been here for a year maybe he has jut decided to get serious and start working.

Cool man! congrats, now just forget what you've been doing and setup a strong system (business) research, test and explore new ways to make your CPA business stronger, find a great method and don't stick to it, instead of that twist it and mix it with other cool methods... Confused? Cool!

You're right, $1.20 is not really an amount to get excited by, and I've made a hell of a lot more with Clickbank, Paydotcom, and selling websites. CPA is just another area I was interested in, and I know of people making in excess of $1k per day using CPA, don't forget they all started somewhere. If you're new to IM, Clickbank is a good place to start. Read some of the stickies such as Success with Articles - Mini-Guide 2 Cash and just experiment to find out for yourself what brings home the bacon and what doesn't.

1 in 5 isn't a bad conversion rate at all. I started off tonight only doing CPA and most people average 10-20% conversion with email and zip submits. Keep it up! Also, rebills (ie free trial products) convert a lot lower so you gotta just stick with it until it pays off!
