It's the reason I'm here...
Glad to be here! This is my first attempt at creating an internet marketing business. I know that this journey will take some time and a whole lot of commitment. I'm dedicating the next few months to learning, trying, failing, and succeeding at this business. Within the next 6 months I expect to know whether or not this business is right for me, and vise versa.
I've been 27 years employed with the same company and I'm now the general manager making a good living. Plus, I've been trading the Forex market for a little more than a year with good success and part time profits. The reasons I want to build an internet business are...
1) I love the internet!
2) I want more control of my time.
3) I enjoy sharing information and ideas with others.
It seems to me that working a successful internet business can satisfy many of my personal desires. Of course, I could be wrong, but if I don't try this business, I'll never know and I may always wonder.
That's why I'm here and I hope I've chosen the right place to start.
Thank you Norb for the RGPG program and the opportunity to build a more satisfying career.
Cheers!

Re: It's the reason I'm here...
Hello Tim.
This sounds excellent, also as you were are a Forex trader why not start by promoting those high commission Forex products because you can understand/speak the lingo =)
Anyways, good luck and if you need anything give us a shout, and welcome

I appreciate your advice and I agree that forex is probably a good niche for me. In fact, over a year ago, I had this idea that I would build a forex directory website. I bought a "For Dummies" book on website CMS software (Joomla) and I learned to build a website by building one for my church, which worked out great.
Well then, like an idiot, I paid GoDaddy a bunch of money to register a few URL names for my future forex website (I even paid to host one of them). I bought another "For Dummies" book, this time on web analytics, but I have yet to read it. So, more then a year later, I have an outdated web analytics book, and a completely empty website - paid in full for 5 years! I guess the 'for dummies' part fits me well.
But, I plan to change that as soon as learn how, and any help you can offer will be reciprocated as best as I can. The good news is that I've learned a whole lot more about the forex business this past year. I know what works and, perhaps more important, what doesn't work. I suspect that may help with a forex niche campaign - we'll see soon enough.
Thanks again Willyboy!

Hey Neighbor!
Looks like you're next door in Indiana. I have a number of friends from Indiana, some now living here in Illinois, but many still living there.
I have only started to look through the Chopper forum site. I've been mostly reading from the 30 Day Course materials. It's good to know that someone new to this, like me, sees this forum more as a professionally run resource as opposed to an amateur filled fiasco.
Thanks for your insight!
