Hello from Australia!
Hi,
I'm a newbie in Australia. I first got interested when I won 'free tickets' to an internet marketing seminar last year. I went just to see what it was about (the 'free' thing kinda works), seemed interesting (until they started the selling of their own product on the second day, but hey, free is free right?). Had a go, failed, forgot about it. A few months later I got interested again, half-arsed my way through setting up a site, no results gave up. Today (4 months later) I got home, checked my email and saw that I'd made my first sale (via payzeno). Wow. Ok then. Maybe it actually *can* work?
My plan is to work my way through the 30 Day challenge and see where I stand, no half-arsing this time. Any advice on staying organised would be appreciated, as well as tips on staying motivated and focussed.
Thanks,
Kate

Re: Hello from Australia!
Nice story, great to make that random sale out of the blue I'd say if you really do follow the 30 day challenge all the way through you will be a different person in 30 days time in terms of knowledge, and experience.
No magic organisation advice, but just make your plan and set aside time every day to work (even if some days it's only an hour), as long as you keep making progress in the right direction to begin with I think this is important.
Good luck,
Dan

Re: Hello from Australia!
Another question, how does one select a good product for a first timer? Are there certain niches I should stay away from when just trying to get through the basics?
Thanks,
Kate.

Re: Hello from Australia!
I would suggest:
1. A product that is properly created, yet may not have a lot of grav -
2. Should have banners and other material for the affiliate - I think this shows the level of commitment from the Vendor
3. No PLR products or products made from PLR
4. Spring is around the corner (for us) - One of the members here has a chicken coop product - this may be a good starter.
5. Commission should be at least 75% - or if it were converting well and was a top notch product then minimum 65% commission.
6. Try to look for new products that just hit CB - have a look over the sales material and make sure they have an affiliates section - as well all items as listed above - its often nice to get in on the ground floor of a product.
Cheers - welcome and Buena Fortuna

Re: Hello from Australia!
Hi there
Why not promote nichechoppers, if you are going to do the 30 day challenge you could genuinely review this site and write a blog on your success thanks to nichechoppers. It is best to promote something you are familiar with or have tested to start with.
Good luck
