Ok so it's not a scam... I finally made my first sale!! It's working :) Years in the making!

I would like to acknowledge all the fine folks here at Nichechoppers for their help in closing my first Clickbank sale EVER!

Quite Frankly I have been "working" at this for years (literally) without a single success. Thanks to the info posted here and over at DP (by some of the same folks that post here) I have a first sale 3 days into the campaign.
Unfortunately the product isn't one of NCMedias... but I will be launching a campaign for everloss as soon as it goes live.
For the first time in a long time I feel confident that both the current campaign and my everloss campaign will be successful.
Again I have all of you here to thank. I've used (and will continue to use) what I've learned from your postings, and I expect to continue to learn as we go along.

    Thanks muchly!

Congratz on the first sale! It does feel good especially that early into your campaign. Just rinse and repeat and keep the cash flowing.

Well done, do you want to let on which niche it was in?

Keep up the good work and put something back into the forum when you get a chance.

Congrats bro - I bet you had a huge smile on your face when you finally saw the dent in those zeros...

Cheers and it's great that we were able to provide you with the tips/info to help you finally convert - another testament to the effectiveness of the Niche Choppers initiatives.

Well, since one of the things I "picked up" was...

    Go with what you know.

    It's a health niche.

The biggest help has been very much the "nuts and bolts" setting up a campaign. From the "how to's" on PPC to setting up landing pages and of course being "patient".

BTW, I've almost got everything ready for the Everloss launch... just in case it launches early.

And if for now all I can do is lend "credibility" with my testimony, then you can certainly count on that. Though I am sure that at some point I'll have something "earth shattering" to share!

    Thanks again everyone!

well done on the first sale ... i'm really impressed by your stickability - years you say? wow!!

definitely a lot of good info here ... my biggest mistake has been sometimes thinking that doing it my own way will work better ... better to stick with the tried and true

Wow, how much time where you putting in? Full time or just a couple hours a day? You know whats funny. I started aff. mar. about 4 months ago. In my first week I got 3 back to back sales, haven't had one since. I finally bought a CB product through my own hop to give me some inspiration. If I ignore my CC bill, it's like someone else bought it. That and I was checking to make sure my sales were registering. Ha Ha! Hope to get more soon. I am setting up campaigns like nuts........................

oh, if nobody noticed, I set up a newbie aff. mar. toolbox at www.ajswebinfo.com/21incomestreams.html. It is all free to download. I have gotten some useful information out of them. Hopefully you can too. AJ

I just wanted to re phrase this post, I am writing articles like nuts (not PPC campaigns). Sorry for the confusion. Maybe I am going to fast. Thanks Gancemann

Well, I guess a little history is in order. This will mean a longer than normal post and I'll clarify the "years" comment in the process.

I began "marketing" in the mid-seventies as a teenager. I've been there and done that with just about every system you can think of. Some I was successful with (to a point) others were complete flops.
My first experiences with the "internet" began in late 1978 when I was selling electronics and as part of the sales position we got a free account with Compuserve. (the first time I used Bird of Prey for a handle)
For the next 12 years I ran my own DJ business which allowed me to experiment with MLM and other Direct Marketing methods.
In 1990 I went back to school and settled down into a "real" job!
By 1994 I was back at selling niche products for the Sci-fi crowd.
1998 I build my first website and got into the build a site, make it valuable then sell it business. Did quite well through 2000. It was at this point I quit the "real" job.
Since then I've concentrated on selling services over the internet and done quite well. I sell web design and hosting as well as fire sprinkler design (the "real" job from 1990) services.
So you could say I've been full time living off an internet income since 1998.
I first started trying to sell CB products in August of 2000. My first success with CB was 10-07-2008.
Between the marketing and the design work I put in a 60-80 hour work week, but it pays well.

One more thing, It's perfectly OK to call me BOP. That's been the standardized shorthand for my handle for almost 25 years now. But that's another story for another time.

Cool, I need to borrow a couple brains like yours and stick the info into my head. Like a data transfer. maybe with a USB cable. Good to diversify with other types of knowledge.

I think you'd be better off with NC, JIMZ, Ganceann and a few of the more CB successful Choppers around here.

Though I will admit I've got perserverance mastered!

Ganceann is schooling me, no worries. I am sure you have info that you could offer to anyone. If you don't learn something everyday, you have to stop sleeping so much right? lol.

Who here has NOT bought a CB product through their own hop link?
Yeah, it feels good to see a Non-zero number there, even if you know it's yours.

Ya, you wanna know what's funny? The product I bought never even got delivered. It was one of those not so honest clickbank products. Clickbank shortly removed it. At least I used my own hop. lol

    Reallly cool!

    That's fantastic news!

As I sit here with my mind racing and jumbled full of almost 24 hours of research, it gives me yet more inspiration to continue on!

    That's cool...

I started affiliate marketing late june this year... and can say I have had success but not so much that I can brag about... it is still decent income...

I'm doing bum marketing by the way... but the problem is that I am too lazy to write articles...

I've got to keep churning articles and stop reading forum posts.....

    NowTHIS is a WIN Update!

As of today, I am now qualified to actually get a check from CB!

Late last night I got the 5th different CC (Visa and MC) sale and went over the minimum payment amount to get a check!

    10 days...

    8 years of zippola...

Now 0 to getting a check in 10 days. (I know the check won't be here for a couple of weeks, but it's nice to know it IS coming!

    NOTE to other noobs...
IF you are reading the posts at Nichechoppers wondering if it's for real...

    IT IS FOR REAL!!!

If you actually apply what Norb, Jimz, Ganceann and the others here suggest YOU WILL MAKE SALES at CB. EVEN on products other than NCMEDIA'S!

Based on the advice here at NC (and by some of the NC groups posts at DP) regarding what to look for when chosing products to promote and making just a minor tweak to my PPC campaign strategies (again based on advice offered here at NC)... I'm making SALES! Profitable sales! My ROI is 300%+ and getting better every day.

Thanks again to Norb and the gang here at NC!
