Ashley Baker - Our New Admin

I've been having a heck of a time trying to wrap my head around the 1001 features VB offers for the backend, as well as administering this board and the brotherhood board...

Yesterday I learned that one of our very own is a VB pro (or at least much more versed than I), and has ran circles around me so far re some hiccups and refixes needed.

This has by far shown me that I need people that know the forum technical aspects well, and thus Ashley Baker is now going to be helping me help you guys make the most of your experience here.

This would also be a good time to note that if YOU are also a VB pro, please raise your hand and let us know, we may indeed need you one day.

Thanks Guys, Thanks Norb.

Just a little intro, im 19, and from the bootiful countrysides of Suffolk in the UK. Im mostly self taught, and as Norb found out earlier I take a comical view on resolving problems, and it usually works I've ran too many VB forums to think about, and fixed/tuned/and f*cked so many more! Im relitavely new to IM, always had it in my mind over the last 3 years, started, gave up, started again, you know how it is! Anyway im back into it now, and after my first sale about a month ago I'm never gunna stop! Im probably one of the most motivated people you could meet when it comes to IM/AM, because to me its the ultimate, it's where I want to be, and what I want to do!

I also self taught myself html, php, and SQL! Along with several programming languages (lol was a bit of a geek at school)! And I seem to have an art im problem solving, especially with php and databases! The one thing I am NOT is good at maths, so please, if I am offering help dont mention too many equations or numbers lol

So yee, i'll be the sort of techy guy! And if I've got the time, you've got my help! Im looking forward to chatting to all of you properly, and I hope me and Norb will work together to progress the board upto its maximum potential for everyone!

If you ever do exprience any bugs or weird trips here on the forums, be sure to let me or Norb know so we can SORT IT

Great introduction man amazing, I'm self taught too, I'm 23 and was studying International relations when I discovered IM now I'm a college dropout, I'm very proud of that decision , Now my true passions are IM, design & branding and of course my GF Ha! Nice background.

Hey Ashley. Awesome job. You're a true example of hard effort will bring rewards. Most people don't even want to look at programming languages, and I give you props for that.

I too have started - stopped - started again internet marketing. The first time around I feel I was lacking persistence which is a key ingredient to making anything successful (Just recently read 'Think and Grow Rich')

It's starting to come all together, and seeing the 'growing' effect of having your own website, and adding content on a constant basis.

I'm really going to start dedicating myself to learning PHP - fixing a problem on my blog takes hours as it is.

and for Norb... it is one of the fundamental rules of success... having people who are better than you to do the things they are better at etc.

Makes everything go smoother when people know what they are doing without you needing to do everything yourself
