Yesterday I made my first sale! I had a total of 212 hops and sold the Forex Tracer... whohooo
Now I just gotta work on my 100 hops per day.

Congratz on the sale... and I am sure you will reduce the number of hops per sale as well when you send more targeted traffic.
I would almost bet a few of the hops were from you checking links worked or maybe having people review the site for you etc and they checked links.
Congrats! Don't ya just love the feeling?
Duplicate and perfect = epic win!
The tracer usually converts at 1:30-40. Try get more targeted traffic and I'm sure you'll sell plenty with those 200 hops!
Don't be disappointed with that conversion rate, I started like that, but you quickly adjust your campaigns to focus the traffic and improve on those rates.
Well done.
Jim
Thanks guys!
I think I have to work on my landing pages a bit... got a few tips from Norb which I'll apply shortly. I'm been mostly getting targeted traffic from ezine articles, so maybe it's my articles--even though I'm getting the hops.
That is a possibility with the articles... you could be getting people in a browsing mood who are still doing some research and haven't quite got into buying mood yet. It is good to get browsers as well as buyers - but you need to be able to follow up with browsers... otherwise they may find their way to the merchant site through another affiliates link when they get into buying mode.
That is the purpose of a mailing list... if they are in browsing mode and you have something attractive on offer to get them to sign up to a list... and then send some follow up emails with useful information... they may change from browser into buyer - or they may not as the product isn't for them etc.
Ya, you may want to start building a list instead of just trying to sell them on the Brotherhood. Personally that is what I would if I was only getting one sale for 200 hops.
They say the more times a person sees an offer, the more likely they are to take it. You only got one shot if you aren't building a list.
