Introduction Posts Hey Everyone! Yet Another Canadian

    Hey everyone,

    so about myself:

I started internet marketing back in the summer of 2006. I had a niche website, and a blog. I was very eager to start my efforts towards making money online. Clickbank, Cj, and Google. I put in about 1-2 months of effort...well 1/4 effort 3/4 reading (yes I know, stop reading and do something). Then September came, and started College. So I stopped my efforts, and forgot about my websites. However, I left the websites up and made a little money from just leaving it (about $100).

I just graduated from College this year, and so the summer came around and decided to come back into it.

Hope to learn from everyone, and share some insight where I can

    Mike

Hi Mike, nice avatar indeed ^^

I personally believe that reading is not that big of a deal. Before I did anything I bookmarked 200 pieces of reading to just overview whenever I need to during the process.

    Welcome Mike

In some ways I think the reading thing is underrated ... so far I've often found that if I'd done some reading before I'd tried something I would've saved myself a lot of time and wasted efforts ... but agree, you don't want to spend all your time reading ... it's all about finding that happy balance.

For me, I tend to read when my brain is too shot to do anything else or I'm feeling a bit flat of ideas ...

My 2p ... welcome to the forum

Thanks guys, Yeah I've learnt that actually putting effort into something is what will make the return - not just knowing how to do it.

I agree, you can read too much, but make sure you get the fundamentals of links/anchor text, content right and you shouldn't go too wrong, all of which can be found here on this forum.

    Good luck
