One thing I don't understand is that Web 1.0 look surrounding that amazing video, it's defiantly not living up to the quality of your video sales pitch.

EDIT: Remember saying the exact same on digital point under the influence of a lot alcohol. At the end of the day it's all about conversions but I am very keen on good design. You could brand the overall look so much better, making it look even more professional.

Shame guess it is a much harder market to get into perhaps.. maybe a different way of selling, different audience, maybe protective JV lists which aren't open to newbies.. shame

I'd love to buy a weight loss product too tbh, would sit well with me, and actually hoping to launch our own $300 weight loss hypnosis premium product later in the year.... but to buy something which only ever achieved 2 gravity even with Drews backing of affiliate contact list...

True true. My offer would've reflected that don't worry It was the product I was after to be honest, easier than creating one from scratch I guess, and how I market it is completely up to me (for example now we know that a 10+ minutes video is not good for selling it ).

I believe it's a solid product and eventhough the gravity didn't go up much, I'm pretty sure Drew made good profit from his own email blasts and I think he had some JVs as well?

That's the problem with trying to crack big niches, even if you have a top-notch product.

Think about the competitors that Drew has...Truth About Abs, Fat Loss 4 Idiots, The Diet Solution <<< all these products are well-established and their affiliates would need a really good reason to switch...

And not to mention that this niche is VERY unfriendly for newbies, so beginners ranking for long tail keywords and making random sales (like it usually happens in easy niches) thus raising gravity go out of the window...

yeah, not ashamed to admit it was a bit of a flop. Hardly made any sales (didnt send to my list as it wasnt a good match)

Now I know, stick with my own niche or crack a brand new niche.

All good it's part of the cycle.

You hit success bigtime once, it's actually HARDER to replicate it than you think - most big vendors will tell you that you often don't realize how valuable your shit is until you find yourself trying to replicate it over and over without the same results (different niches/bad timing/whatever).

I failed twice in the weightloss niche (Everloss.com - HollysDiet.com) didn't do fitness but close enough and it's a whole different monster, many of the points made in this thread are exactly the reason it's hard to crack into no matter how great your offer or your branding is. It's simply impossible sometimes to get into a niche even with big resources, it's often not lack of them, just way too many barriers to compete with the leaders who are established 5-10+ years now.

Good that you own up to it as not everything can be a success as much as we try to prepare and model after what is working.

I think for me to get into the fitness niche i would have to funnel from my current products.

Eg: e4e should sell to organic gardening, should sell to healthy food, should sell to fitness.

and slowly I would build a list interested in fitness.

I could have blasted it to my e4e list but didnt want to risk losing a bunch of subs.
