Seems Webmaster Tools Found My Links

One of my sites that SirKhan is doing some work for used to have around 100 backlinks found by webmaster tools. THis was like yesterday. Today it has 62,000 :O. WOO. Is this because webmaster tools lags like a porn on 56k? On that matter I really wish all of googles tools were a bit faster in their refresh rate.

From 100 to 62k? Or maybe some black-hatter is trying to spam your site down the rankings with Xrummer?

I think most of those links are from profiles, forum posts and social networks, which are harder to get indexed, so if you started using SirKhan's services recently, then those are the links that JUST got indexed.

Yeah it's lagging pretty badly. I always use Majestic SEO & Open Site Explorer, but they lag too. They have to crawl millions of pages and put them into indexes etc. takes time & lots of computing power. But don't worry about that, just watch your rankings and nothing else.
