Hey Guys,

I launched a Product called “Online Dating Explained”, a couple of months ago it got a few sales, and thanks to some of the excellent guys here (Specifically Centarec (your advice put me back on the straight and narrow with this product), Koahost, Weedogroup, Forex-id10t, Kakaboo,>>ViralChimp<<, JamesK (who proof read the eBook/sales page)) I have tweaked it allot and its gone from strength to strength.

The Product is now a higher quality with bonuses, the sales page has gone from pretty rubbish looking back with not great copy to now what i would consider a good page atleast in terms of copy, So I am now officially announcing the Online Dating Explained 1.1 launch, but there is something very special, I have managed to arrange an INDUSTRY LEADING 85% COMISSION PER SALE, this is 10% more than MOST OTHER VENDORS ON THE PLANET RIGHT NOW, Yes its only $2 extra per sale ($22, instead of $20), but those $2 extra could really add up.

Ok so what’s the catch? Simple it’s my very first product, so I don’t have a list, I don’t have hundreds of customers waiting to buy, I don’t have a fancy syndicate, I didn’t even have fancy eBook covers or a good sales page when I first announced it.. I have tweaked it allot, but I’m still learning myself, I’m not a guru, I’m not a serial launcher, I’m just a Normal guy trying to make it with his first product, luckily for you this means your success is my success.

I'm not a greedy person if you have traffic, a dating blog, or anything really, i am even happy to give you discount coupons, as i would rather have even 1% of something over 100% of nothing!

What is Online Dating Explained?

It features a written guide, audio book and members forum, teaching guys (and maybe girls) How to do Online Dating. There are other products on the market, however they cost $97, while mine costs just $27, so you may get slightly less per sale (due to the difference in price) but it comes back to the age old debate, Is it better to sell 1 product at $97 or 4 Products at $27...

Depending on your volume of sales, I will try and arrange either even more comission (Plimus as with most others cap commission at 75% so I already had to speak to them to get it up to 85% so I cannot Guarantee anything higher than that right now) or a speical extra bonus.

The New sales page, eBook covers and version have only just been made public, so there is no conversion data at the moment, However in September with only a couple of very targeted prospects from a forum, I made 3 sales with the old page which was not even half as good as this one.

You may wanna change that headline in the example sales page.

I'm NOT a copywriter never even studied it.

BUT...reading it...

"I turned from a 23 year old virgin who had only 3 girlfriends...."

That sounds like/and or could sound like/interpreted to mean he had 3 girlfriends at one time....that's a lot.

Consider most people won't give a lot of thought to it...reading it straight off the bat as headlines are intended...that sounds wrong for the product?...

I don't know...

maybe...

...sounds better from the point of view of the market your trying to target?....

as I say, I'm not a writer...but as a reader that's how I interpreted it...

I know I'm insane anyway...but I'm sure there are others who could get that impression....?

I second what ViralChimp says. The 23 year old who's never had a girlfriend is way more likely to buy this product than the 23 year old who has had 3 girlfriends.

You know what your right, and i never even thought of it that way, i was thinking along the lines of he has had 3 girlfreinds in his 23 years, but yeah if it sounded to you on first read that i meant 3 girls at once then i guess it may sound to others that way aswell, which means Lost Sales....

If you had of asked me a few days ago then i would have said Yes almost instantly, but after being on Yahoo Answers i dont nessasarily think it is, i think that although there are general dating help sites which are controlled by a few companies, their is still plenty of room in the Online dating help sub niche for Me, You and everyone here to make money from the Online Dating Niche, for example on google the term Online dating gets 165,000 exact match searches every month...

What happened with Yahoo Answers ? Well as i breifly mentioned in the "Partner Pack" Yahoo answers, is unexploited, for instance when i was promoting weightloss via yahoo answers in an hour if that people where posting answers with links to products, where as with Online Dating, the questions for specific online dating help still had 0 answers after a couple of days....

I think that if you promote using Yahoo Answers, Articles, Lists, Forums, Blogs, Plenty Of Fish Ads, even adult sites or Adwords there is enough for all of us to make money from primarily guys looking for Online Dating help...

James, nice to see that you have made a lot of changes from the initial design. I would just add few more things...put at least one more buy now button, somewhere in the top of the page. Also, under Jason Inbox all I can see is a black image. Next, go to fiverr.com and get video testimonials for $5 each. Finally, when thinking about promoting it maybe focus first on Plenty of Fish and Facebook.

Just a Mini Update, i would like to say thanks to Vadym for his advice the last few days which have helped me improve the Sales Page EVEN MORE

The sales page has really turned from something, which looking back was pretty rubbish [the second version especially], into the current one [its like revision 14 or something, all the hours and hours of changes and not getting into bed till 5-6AM] which makes even me keep looking at my sales page and re-reading bits of it, I really do have you guys to thank for this, you gave me the inspiration with the money screens, etc and than when i was ready to launch my own product, after emailing a successful vendor, on his personal email to introduce my product becuase i thought the second sales page revision was ready after spending 8 hours writing it, and his response was just "That page won't convert well enough for us to consider mailing. " and then when i asked him why, he ignored me, i know he is busy but without this forum and you guys i would be stumped, becuase on its own that comment doesn't help me make it better, BUT what it did do is make me ask what i was doing wrong, and looking back, i was doing allot wrong but you guys gave me advice, which helped me transform this, and diffrent people are still giving me advice to make it better, thats what i love the comminity here, not one single person ever said james your you will never make any money unless you buy my services, instead you gave me guidance like james here is what i would do.

So Basically THANK YOU, to everyone who has given up there time to help me get this far
