Has my work banned access to Nichechoppers and other site?

I have not been able to get onto the forum all day, also lots of other sites cannot be found for me including synthasite, digg, dp. I could get on lots of others like CB, norbsmoney, lots of others.

I thought this very weird, until I remember that an IT guy (at the day job) was looking at my computer yesterday and clicked the drop down url browser to see lots of sites. I think he must have gone back and had a look at my internet activity and banned some sites.

Am I being paranoid or what?

Have you tried using a proxy site to get to these pages?. Proxy.org might help sort that out.

Sounds like what you are thinking is correct.

This is the same type of enforcement we do at a local real estate office. We wait until they are gone and check out what sites they visit the most via the PC, then we go and check the logs on the server to see what is accessed the most out of those sites , and then we put a block up.
