1st $100 day!!!!

Alright I lied, it wasn't a $100 day but close to it

I didn't log in for a week and just logged and was surprised/happy/elated to see this as it is my first time having 3 sales every day in a row (I had sales in the past but was only 1-2 every week or two)

Well I know it's not a lot compared to some of the big earners here but I was really happy to see it.

Most of it were done using 'free' methods(actually not really free just used my own time) only at most spent $50 on the sites.. hope this can be some form of inspiration to newbies!

All the sales only came mainly from 2 sites.. marketing you can easily guess.. gaming G of course.. what type of market.. thats a sensitive question but one of the sales was from dubturbo.. Norb's upsells are the bomb.. now I know how important it is to pick a great product that sometimes has good upsells (which can be a little bit difficult to find on clickbank)

oh and also a few videos on youtube.. I just took some of Norb's videos and added a few seconds + watermark to make them unique so that youtube wont remove it for duplicate videos..

yeah I had one refund few days ago and it was for something that came with an upsell too so it can sometimes be a bit demoralizing.. but refunds are just part of this business and there's nothing you can do much about it except to pick products where the vendors have great support and can minimize the refund rate.. i.e. its none of my business so I try not to think about it --> the more you think about it the more likely its gonna happen for some reason lol

But anyway those sales were from 4-5 people so I don't think I would be so unlucky to have all of them refund lol

Lol actually it probably wasn't like a week, maybe 3-4 days but it did felt like a week.. I used clickbank's default password (the complicated one) which I write down on a piece of paper at home so I can only check it when I am at home.. its kind of funny when I first started I didnt bother checking my clickbank account just rankings, but once you start making a few sales you would becoming a clickbank stat checking addict, then somehow you will get over it.. guess its just a process.

im with you man was thinking of doing a similar thing and just completely forgetting cb is there so im not distracted by the idea of money but focused on getting my site right out of pure enjoyment of what i am doing.

No more close to 100$ day since the past week but had sales totalling close to a 100$, if this continues for the next 2 weeks it would be my first month breaking 500$/month (purely from affiliate sales)

I also do some side servicing on the side like writing articles for other people and setting up wordpress blogs for them. I'm still trying to devise a way or thinking of brushing up some skills that can get you instant money when you put in a little bit of time, as nothing is completely safe/guaranteed in this business and sometimes you just need that service to last you through the difficult times.

I also sold one of my sites for $1,300, the niche is in the growing taller niche and the site is publicly listed on Flippa(my username is the same) if you are curious.. it is ranked #2 for how to grow taller and how to get taller and a lot of other variations.. The feeling of getting that $1,300 payment tells you that

Super trooper true on the Interwebs, dudes and dudettes. Get a skill that'll always pay the bills - then do marketing. I was still whoring myself as a copywriter on the side this time last year.

On my first site I counted 500 unique visits = 25 hops = 1 sale. But that is pretty targeted traffic.

I can imagine if you have a "fun" type site, or one of those "little bit of everything" portals, that you would have a hard time getting sales.

What kind of site do you have and what are you using to track your visitors.. I only have 100-200+visitors a day currently. If your site is random kind of stuff maybe you could try putting things like adsense up instead of trying to sell something?

I am doing ok but not as much as I would like to at the moment, but it is partly my fault because I have gone into the "slacking mode" after my exams.. I am still schooling and had exams a month ago and didn't touch IM for 2-3 months and after my exams ended it is ridiculously hard to start doing it again lol. Come to think of it I probably shouldn't have sold my first site I sold some time ago as posted above.

I am not feeling the "christmas rush" either as what Norb posted in his DT thread haha most of my sales below come from DT alone.

But well a year ago I would never have believed this was even slightly possible.. $500/month is still something to look forward to every month if the trend continues for a few more months at least

My income is almost 100% from AdSense but it is really low - around 40E per month and I will definitely check buysellads.com, haven't heard of it. Kakaboo I received his windows password resetter and will think about it, maybe I will test it.
