Thank you! Another noob mistake, I was thinking of redirecting my URL to my affiliates webpage, and effd it up! I'm back online now. I think I made a sale through one of the backlinks on a forum not too sure. Please give me feedback if you have time

are they keywords that people are searching for as it would carry more weight for you
if you have done your research correctly,

Question you should ask yourself: Am I trying to make money with sales off the product or with adsense?

The way you have it set up is that it is to easy to read your sales page and then to click on an ad for similar product and leave your site.

You get your 5c and the adsense vendor gets $25... Your choice...

@weedo - it's my blog and most of the anchor texts are being searched for, i tried lower comp. Am i doing it wrong?

@narres - I know what you mean, the blog gives them alot of options to choose from instead of just clicking on the product links itself. Should I be going about it with a different approach? Like removing the adsense?

Here's another thing I might do tonight, tell me if this makes sense:

Create a sub domain and forwarding it to my aff link, using SEnuke to create backlinks w/ articles and social networks displaying the sub.

Do you think that would that create more sales? I've been pondering this idea

When you have your URL to your site on a public forum like this, you can be sure that most of the impressions that you are getting comes from people who are just checking out your sites rather than prospective buyers..

1 click per day is too little.. stuff online usually converts at 1-5% that means 1 out of 100 clicks or 1 out of 20 clicks..

you probably just need to evaluate the way you are getting traffic...

What's wrong with making 2 sales within 2 weeks for your first site? 2 sales/2 weeks = 1 sale/week

Some people don't even see any sales come in until their 3rd month, some 6th, some even after a year.. I only saw mine after 4-5 months and the 2nd sale only came 1 month after that.. even now I am also only making 1 or 2 sale per week with 200-300+ UV every day.

Maybe you need to re-evaluate your expectations, online buyers convert at 1/30-1/50 for physical products and maybe 1 per 100 for digital ebooks/software.. just like how 100 people may walk into a real shoe shop but only 2-5 person will really buy a pair of shoes..

time span doesn't matter... how many unique visitors are you getting a day and how many are clicking through your affiliate link?

You seem disappointed with 2 sales in 2 weeks, it takes many people a lot longer to see results.

You just need to stick at it, continue adding quality content and building decent backlinks.

Yeh don't be discouraged by two sales in two weeks. I've had my domain for 5+ months (i will admit i had no idea what i was doing for a fair chunk of it) and im still yet to see a sale. Hopefully soon! Congrats on your first though!

I agree that adsense ads list similiar products as the product for sale and it can distract a visitor from the main product that is being sold on the page

I am doing it wrong too because i have a site with app. 30 000 unique visitors per month and no sale for the last 5-6 months. I had 1-2 impressions per day. Maybe I haven't chose the right campaigns. I will appreciate any advices from the guys who have any sales
