The best thing about it was that the sale came when i went out and got drunk with my friends!

Lets just hope now that it doesn't get refunded! haha

Congratz... and yeah, the first sale is the one to get the ball rolling. You just need to start replicating the success and reducing the number of hops per sale... eventually almost guaranteeing 1 sale for every article (and then some).

Hahaha, plus rep for that. If you're in any way spiritual, there's a movie called The Secret, about how sending positive thoughts into outer space is what makes all the difference. I don't believe in that stuff, but it was a rather intriguing movie.

I recommend cider, I always get more sales when i am drinking cider, in fact here are a list of the highest earners:

cider - many sales
beer - few sales
spirits - one sale max
wine - no sales
nothing - some sales but its no fun

yeah the spiritual stuff who knows ...

but i think it says a lot for positive thinking ... you know, if you are positive, if you believe you will succeed then you will keep working at it and the outcome will most likely be that you succeed ...

if you send out negative thoughts, you will wake up one day and go "well i haven't made my millions yet, so i'm going to give up now" ... and hence you'll fail ...

positive thoughts -> positive outcomes

negative thoughts -> negative outcomes

sure there is a degree of randomness in life that we can't control, but i think whether you are postive or negative about things has a large influence on how your life turns out, whether you are spiritual or not
