Forum Order - Please Contribute

Got a PM from a member suggesting that we create a better 'order' of categories and sections here.

I would like YOUR opinion on this, and I would love to hear suggestions from you guys on how to make sure this place is laid out properly and maximized with all great sections.

So> I want you guys to paste how YOU think the forums should be laid out. Include any sections we don't have or think we should add.

The current flow order is.

-VIP
--dereg.tactics
--marketing guild
--launch leaks

-New Members
--Intros & Rules

-The Niche Chop Shop
--Our Programs
--ClickBank Training
--Success Stories
---marketing journals
---aff of the moment interview
--TheBar/Shoot the shit

--Design/Branding
--General/other marketing

--List of networks << thinking of deleting or just making 1 single sub category

There you have it, so if this were your forum, how would you lay it out? What would you add/delete/rename?

please copy/paste the above and tear it apart, look at other forums for inspiration or ideas if you'd like. I am going to indeed follow suit with the good suggestions guys so please help me make this the best place it can be. Some of you just use the 'newest posts/threads' columns and that's fine, please only post if you have ideas and are going to participate in this, no random one line answers here please/thank you.

1. VIP should go to the very bottom of the forum.
2. The networks section should be dropped, and the forum should be merged into another section, possibly with a few sub-forums with different types of affiliate like CPA, etc.
3. The Intro forum should be put into a section with the "Important Announcements" forum, and they should have their own sexy section. Important announcements like forum updates, launching of new products, etc.

That's all I can think of for now, will update.

I think the whole CPA section should be dropped since that is not what you focus on and you are not involved with any of them. I know they are popular on blackhat forums and the like but not sure it has a place here. I like the clickbank training one.

I feel VIP isn't something to flash. They won't get into it by aspiring to writing spammy posts and begging for entry. If it was completely hidden, it would be that much better. People get invited into it, and noone was the wiser.

I really like this design! I cant wait to this forum is active like DP but with actual quality post. I cant stand DP's SHittyness and horrible threads

I think we might need a total article marketing section... LOL, I couldn't find anywhere to put my article problem and so I added it to the copy section and it just didn't seem right.

And as we all know in the D P there is a million questions asked about article marketing every single day, probably hour...

I changed 'copywriting' to 'article marketing & copywriting' They are relative enough to be together i think.

VIP should be on the bottom. That's what I think, because if only few members of the forum can access that place, it shouldn't be really visible.

And more thing. I think we don't need sub forums in Clickbank section, because useful threads are sticky, and the rest is related to Clickbank anyway....

CPA stuff and all that should go to marketing section.

I vote for the creation of a separate section for warning alerts and the pure pwnage moments of scamsters and fraudsters that plague this noble (*cough cough*) community.

And if you do go ahead with it, please don't call it "Hall of Shame"...that's just too cliche for cool kids like us :3

There aren't too many warnings given around here. Noobs are expected to read the rules of the forum and if they don't comply, they're gone, as they should be. So, I don't think a warning/banned section would be warranted, although banned posts would be a chuckle to read.

I would drop the CPA part as well. IMO most of those companies will scam people until you sue them.

Not a banned section, although posting stuff from the banfiles would be a laugh.

I'm talking about defrauders like the recent ebay forex scam, and other CB or CPA or whatever scams that members might fall prey to one way or another.

If you put the bar below the banner, it would help a lot.

Afterall, when I came into the forum, it took me a minute to find the CP as well.

I would suggest relocating the search button, i didn't see it either and actually just came here to suggest it, lol. Put it int he quick links and on the same row as Calendar Arcade New Posts Quick Links Log Out. I'll let you know any more things to help streamline the site.
