Forum Settings Update.

I just changed up a few things in the backend.

1. You can upload or link to your own avatars now

2. I've increased everyones inbox to 500 msgs

3. I've created a few new groups (vip and sniper)

4. There are password protected and group protected areas now

5. The VIP section is already starting to show some gold, which means if you want in please contribute to the forum on an epic level, don't worry the admins/mods and I notice EVERYTHING, and it's not that difficult to get in. I'm requesting 100+ posts and 100+ rep however in all reality many of you will get in there with much less as soon as we see you do something great. You can start with:

a) getting your own cool avatar, we have the .psd file available in the graphics sticky in this section.

b) Upload your best 'how to' or amazing help response to someone in need.

c) Promote the forum and recruit but NEVER n00bs, only fellow top level compadres you're cool with sharing your gold with, and that won't be shy with theirs. If you recruit n00bs and they put you as the referrer, and screw up here on an epic level - you'll get penalized :P.

d) Offer something for download (not cracked warez or copyright info/product/soft), your own 'gold' for our members.

6. I've enabled sig graphics and animated sig graphics for VIP's. Please do NOT abuse this guys, no spam, no recruitment to products or other networks/tiers, as a VIP here you stand for the NC product line or your own 'something' that totally does not compete with our stuff nor recruits affiliates from our pool for your use << big no no, VIP status gone immediately.

7. Probably a few more changes to come in the near, sorry to be strict, but the VIP's are what's going to make this place rock continuously so expect a whirlwind of info and advice to circulate from them. I don't want to make 'guides' or a ton of mods, so when you see a VIP stamp on a member, it means they have indeed contributed or have been invited through internal efforts and get default vip status for various reasons... The open forum still has the most spoonfed guides to maximizing campaigns and becoming a superaffiliate - once you're a superaffiliate you'll know, we'll know, and a VIP will invite you.

**UPDATE: Got rid of the whole 'welcome header' system and a few message options for no-posters etc... board looks cleaner now and is optimized for less initial scroll - yay.

nice changes! Contests are always fun and really stir things up. So I agree with tripple on that suggestion. Other than that, I think this is a pretty cool forum...even with those b##bs flopping about, Norb!

Hehe, I was hoping a female would say something sooner or later! Just a question for you - are you/women offended by these? I would opt for hunk posters but it just doesn't seem to have the same effect :P

The contest is a touchy one for me - I know I can put together a contest and get a few thousand members here quickly however it's hard enough finding good aff's, this may water the efforts down as n00bs would sign up just to win x and not care much about the rest... still - will have to consider the contest idea in the near - to recruit pros only somehow...
