    Default Adsense Themes

Can someone please tell me what would get the most clicks in Adsense. A theme that has the sidebar 'blended in' in the content box, or one with a separate sidebar?

To illustrate what i mean here are 2 examples:

    Sidebar Blended in

    Sidebar Separated

I'd say sidebar blended in. At the moment i have an Adsense site that brings me around $5 - $10 a day, but i feel like it could be more, the theme i have on it at the moment has a separated sidebar, so i'd like to know if my CTR might go up if i choose a theme that has the sidebar blended in...

    Thanks in advance...

If you're using wordpress why don't you just change the theme for a couple of days and see how much of a difference it makes? There's never a concrete answer to things like this, always needs to be tested.

Have you tried optimizing for other factors? Font color etc?
    big dreams

It will make little difference tbh. Just move the box into the content area and make it stand out. win.

@ BT2009: I'm ranking pretty good atm for some keywords, no high search volume keywords but still, don't want to mess it up by changing themes like every week... With every theme comes a different code and my coding knowledge is pretty basic (although learning css and php). That's why i don't understand how some people call themselves SEO experts while they can't write a single line of code...

Thanks SirKhan, if i remember correctly you're quite experienced with Adsense (or am i wrong?) so i'll go with what you say. I'll do some testing later when my financial status allows more playing around.

My best performing ad is the box-type ad in the content area, i've made it blend in nicely (same bg color, same color as links in content and sidebar) but if you have any other tips for optimizing my Adsense ads, i'll be more than happy if you could share some of your experiences...
