First Sale!!!!

Ok I just made my first affiliate sale ever!! Well I made a couple before, but they were flukes (It was 6 months after I stopped IM my first time) I don't know if this is some sort of fluke as well, because as of now I still have yet to get a domain and hosting. Thats right, and I didn't set up the tracking ID either, thinking that I would do it when I got my domain and everything. Right now I have 2 articles 1 ezine and 1 article base, pointing to a squidoo lens. I also have a youTube channel with a 2 of the vids posted, and have my squidoo lens registered at a couple social bookmarking sites. Thats really it. I still don't know if this is an actual sale or what yet, but I'm super pumped!! I don't know what else to write but YEY!! and to add it was with the DUBturbo product.

I hope so, this was totally unexpected, because I'm still doing the "preliminary stuff" (anything I could do for free at the moment) until after Christmas when Ill have enough money to get hosting and what nots.

I would recommend that you focus on ezine articles rather than squidoo. Ezine ranks better than squidoo and you'll make more sales.

Congrats. Take the time in the future to set sub Ids for every aff link otherwise you are doing extra work for nothing. Sometimes I do the same thing and kick myself weeks or months later when I tell myself "if only I knew exactly where the traffic came from I could scale it up".

DUBTurbo converts really well first off, so that helped you make your sale imo. Norb makes epic produx that convert very well, for the most part of what I've seen anyway.

With a few social bookmarked articles and a squidoo lens, you have enough "content" out there already to make a few sales a month, I would estimate. With a product like DUB Turbo that has been known to convert at 1 to5, It doesnt seem to me that your first sale was a fluke at all. Just keep building backlinks to your lens and articles to get them some more authority with the search engines, and keep driving traffic.

But anyway, congratulations on your "first" sale.

Keep working, and eventually the money will keep piling on.

Not every product converts, not everything will be easy to rank for, but the more time spent, is almost always a good indicator on how well you will make money on the ad campaign in the future.
