A word about conversions:

The site is converting VERY well and I am not just saying that either like so many other threads you read.

I am still testing the main page but so far the site is converting at 1 in 25 with targeted traffic!

NOW is the time to jump on this and make some easy money during the holidays.
The Cataclysm servers went live in the U.S 2 days ago and the game is due to launch in the U.K on 7th December.

There has already been plenty of affiliate interest on this during testing while I have been trying to keep this quiet – so get your campaigns set up now and see for yourself how easy this converts.

So simply setting up a domain redirect or even a quick wordpress blog with a few articles on it can see you making profits fast!

With domains do not discount .co.uk for this niche – as I say it launches on December 7th in the UK so if you set up a quick wordpress blog or even a redirect to a bunch of .co.uk domains for good keywords and get ranked...

UPDATE: Site is converting very well with a conversion of about 1 in 25 so far and remaining steady.

For those of you that want to get started the best keyphrases seem to be:

and you can even take it further as the 2 new races that are coming with the update are called Worgen which is like a Werewolf thing and Goblin.

So if you use phrases like Worgen leveling guide and Goblin leveling guide they are getting a lot of traffic as well.

Sounds good - yep don't worry I can help you if you need any pointers on WOW speak lol - actually doing a report up on how to promote.

You should do really well with domain names and wordpress if the right keywords - i have been promoting through article marketing and it is doing really well on the keywords above and PPC is ok but you have to make sure that you are not using any trademarks.

Such as Cataclysm and WOW so it can be difficult to optimize your ads but you can still do well if you are looking for quick traffic.

If you set up your wordpress blogs and then shoot me a PM I will have a look and give you some keywords i think will do well.

The main article directories that I am using are Articlebase and Ezine articles - the key to it is getting ranked on some good long tail phrases for this niche.

Like i say phrases like "Worgen Leveling guide"

"Goblin leveling guide"

With article structure touch on the main points they are looking to know when Cataclysm launches:

The affiliates that have jumped on board are doing very well however I do think what is putting people off a bit is the 'lore' of the game.

World of Warcraft is a massive game and the speech and language of the game is like a whole other world!

I am going to have the affiliate report finished today with techniques on how to promote and for now i will keep most of them free methods as you can promote using PPC but it is harder to get past the trademark issues.

Also now is the best time to promote as this is going to be the busiest period of interest before the game launches.

Conversions are stepping up a bit and the game launches on the 7th December so more affiliates are getting interested.

I THINK the U.S Canada will be December 7th EST for the launch!

Upsell has been approved:

For a recap of commissions:

Main product sells at : $37.00 of which you will get 75% = $27.75 (before CB fees)

If they choose to leave the page they are offered a $10 discount on the product = $27.00 you get 75% = $20.25 (before CB fees)

For both of these items they will be offered an upsell at $17 and you will also get 75% of this = $12.75 (before CB fees)

So you can now make over $40 from 1 sale!

I will also be adding more products on the backend shortly and going to be doing more with the one click upsells as well.

I was also thinking of doing a case study here at NC to help people get started promoting the guide - well you would be able to see how I am promoting and also it would help clear up some of the learning curve with the niche.

It would mainly be using article marketing, web 2.0 sites and basically free methods as that seems to be my forte.

Although you can do PPC with the niche it is difficult to get around the trademark issues - however if you do want to give PPC a go let me know as this IS a way to get around this.

Your right, And there for the coding of a template is very important for SEO reasons. The bots read it as a map. The word template has a different meaning then most think.

Yes PPC is good with this niche, my advice is to start small and try a few keywords - think i have sent you some good ones via PM?

Make sure you have a few articles on your landing page that all interlink, disclaimer, terms and also that you are collecting email addresses as well.

Then it is a fast way to get traffic.

You can also promote and all you have to be wary of is using the trademark terms like Cataclysm and World of Warcraft in the ad copy.

I believe they are the only restrictions though.

Yes a popular method that is working well is standard article marketing, forum advertising is working well too.

If you want to get sales fast of course you cannot beat PPC - but just have to be careful making sure that you have a good landing page/site.

Wordpress + article marketing - if you stick at it = $$$'s!

Yes sales are still doing OK on this - they have slowed a little as I have been focusing on the other site.

For this one still converting at 1 in 30 to 1in 50 - so still pretty good.

Conversions for Cataclysm Wow Gold Secrets - HOT & NEW >> are as good as 1 in 10!

So focusing on that although my advice is that you can easily set up a site promoting both leveling AND gold as they go together in the game.

If I had only one to pick from though I would go gold!
