    Need Help Please SafeList Help

I just finished watching a video from Corey Lewis regarding SafeLists. He mentions ViralURL, ListBandit, and ListJoe. My problem is that the video is a little out-dated. Are these still good sources or are there better ones?

I am on a tight budget. He says that each of these are around $200 for the package that would be beneficial and not a waste of time. If all SafeLists are that price, I probably will be able to afford only one SafeList membership.

    Any Suggestions,

    Mike Yates

    P.S.- Thanks in Advance

    Are you buying safe lists?

    Advice: DON'T BUY LISTS

If you want to use a mailing list you should create it yourself. It gives you control over how to market to them and not have the message ignored as would be the case if you are buying "safe lists". The same safe list could have been sold 100s of times and unlikely to get much response.

I am totally agree with you. But you can utilize safelists by creating a good email subject, then to capture their intention, using bridge page..

Since you already bumped a 5 months old thread, I think I can drop my thoughts as well...
To be honest, I'm not a friend of these safelists at all. The sites you mentioned, Mike, are those where you buy credits and the members promote to each other, you earn credits by reading the spam from other marketers etc.?

If so, save your time and money and find a way to build a list yourself. Yes, you can generate leads from safelists but it's very likely that your list will be a lot more unresponsive than if you got your leads from somewhere else than these spamnetworks.

Mike I can tell you from experience that safelists are not the way to go. You have to consider that your emails are going into someone else's junk-mail box and you will be competing with thousands of other members to get your messages opened.

Most of the people on the list are other marketers like yourself who are trying to do the same thing. You may find that there is a shitload of mails about joining this safelist or that traffic exchange.

The majority of the people on the list will be people who are chronic surfers who spend hours a day looking at messages for 6 to 12 seconds in order to get advertising credits. Some of them will have their system set up so they can surf several lists at once.

So you see they are not really checking out all of these opportunities they are just earning credits.

That being said, you can actually make money by actively marketing the safelist to others.

This brings us back to list building so IMO your time would be better spent and more profitable building your (responsive) list while marketing products whether they be your own or as an affiliate.

just my take on the subject.
