    FLAME! Hi Everyone

I've been lurking on these forums for a while now, yes I know naughty naughty, so I thought I'd better start posting

Just a quick intro, I started making money on the net with my ebay business about 2 years ago. I'm not doing that at the moment as it takes too much of my time for the profit that I make. Plus the demographic that my products attract aren't exactly the smartest bunch so I get a lot of questions that I need to answer (more time).

I'm a computer science uni drop out lol, I lost all motivation after discovering that only 50% of my course actually covered computer science, the rest was complete garbage that they thought was necessary for you to become a good worker.

When it comes to programming and server side scripting, the saying jack of all trades, master of none comes to mind. I mainly use PHP though. I can use Photoshop ok but I lack creativity and generally borrow ideas from other sites and put them all together to make my own unique site. Notice how I said ideas and not content

My major downfall is focus. I have a HUGE amount of trouble focusing on one project at a time. I'll get 50% of the way through one and start another one and so on. You should see my projects folder LOL. It really tears me apart because I know if i stuck to any of them I would make good money. I'm getting better and starting to get closer to finishing some of my projects.

Anyway enough of my life story. I started article marketing which has got me a few sales. I've read lemonarian's latest guides which has given me a great idea and after a late night I have almost finished that.

Thats enough for now, gotta go to work.

Welcome to the forum... I too lack focus at times and I know I need to try and push myself to stay with what I am doing now as this is only the start of my journey.

Being a programmer does help you a lot - and being able to do your own article marketing is also a bonus... now if you combine both of them into my idea (:) - could be a winner

ps. idea is about creating x versions of article paragraphs that can be used in combination to form a unique standalone articles. I can't code it and the programmer I did mention it to has far too much on to be able to do it... it would be a step up from article spinners as it would be using xx number of unique paragraphs to create xx number of unique article versions... each of which may pick up a few backlinks without falling foul of duplicate content issues. (7 paragraphs in each article with 5 versions of each paragraph = 35 'unique' articles... or thereabouts).

Welcome to the boards... and yer, if you read my stuff, by now you should know that by doing ONLY article marketing - you're leaving a lot (a lot) of money on the table.

So get cracking with the magic 2.0!

Cool stuff, read the rules, stay active, don't spam, don't do drugs, don't be a faghole, etc, etc.

I wouldn't think it would be that easy to write standalone paragraphs that could fit together to form somewhat of a coherent article? Might be possible.

Well, it would kinda be templated paragraphs.

    Para 1: Intro
    Para 2: Main benefit 1
    para 3: main benefit 2
    para 4: example
    para 5: competitive advantage
    para 6: promotional stuff
    para 7: summary

It would be a structured article and although the same benefits could be used, the paragraph would be worded differently (like a rewrite).

It was something I had considered when looking at writing one version of an article for my own site and then writing alternative versions for article distribution purposes.

Sounds like it could work, but would still be a lot of work IMO as you would still have to reword some stuff. I haven't had much experience with article marketing though so my opinion isn't to be taken too seriously

    Welcome

I too had an ebay business running, selling ebooks. It turned into such a pain with customers and feedback that I couldn't be bothered with it any more.

Focus is also my problem, I have 10 or so websites sitting there doing nothing but a few $ on Adsense. At the time I had big ambitions with them!

    Good luck with focusing!

Hah, yeah I hear ya. I've had big ambitions for all my sites I think I have around 10 active ones also. I'd get rid of them but they make me a $1-2 a day in adsense, alright for doing nothing.

With regard to ebay, I was selling gold body jewellery. Most of my customers were teens to early 20 females, they seemed to lack the ability to read the description. I never got a negative but I got sick of receiving comments like "great but not the same size as photo" (well of course it's not you dumb b***h what do you have the nose the size of king kong? *pics are enlarged to show detail*) I didn't actually say that .
