This one I found particulary interesting:

    6. Most super affiliate millionaires that I’ve met in person (and I’ve met dozens) only focus on one or two niches. It’s true that most have experimented in many other niches in order to find the ‘golden’ one or two that work for them. Struggling affiliates, though, are often scattered all over the place, and even when they find a niche that makes them money, they keep moving on to the next niche without fully maximizing their potential or getting to know a niche in extreme depth.

I always beat myself up for not being in enough niches, and of course it's important to spread your income streams across sites/vendors/networks/traffic gen methods. Still a bit of an eye opener that most super affs do best in just a few niches. If that guy is right of course, I know that there are ppl spread out in lotsa niches making mad cash.

Other ppl want to weigh in on that?

The idea with being involved in a lot of niches is to discover which niche works best for you. Some people find it quickly and specialize in that niche and make a living from that niche alone.

Other people will have their main niche - and a small number of niche sites that make them decent income for the amount of work required to maintain the sites. They may also experiment with a niche for specific promotions (JV requests, related niches to their main niche or regular niche areas). However, they will not stay there long term or devote time to developing it beyond "one-off opportunities".

And like the majority of people... they are into every niche going that has any money in it. This can mean making a living - but it is working rather than relaxing.

The big hitters invariably concentrate on 1 or 2 niche areas where they are big players in the niche. They spend time networking, outsourcing tasks and developing the niche as they enjoy doing it. It is easier to do one thing well than 100 things well - the basic economics of specialization (industrial revolution etc).

As Ganceann said - economies of scale.

Entering in 10000 different niches requires a lot of set-up and fixed cost.

Creating a site from the ground up, getting traffic, testing and getting a list of 50 can cost 10 times more than adding 10k subscribers to an established niche.

Although I would be one to talk (lol) as I'm currently expanding into a new niche.... just see the potential and huge LTV of each consumer.

I hope I can try to see if I can clarify this a bit based on my experience, for whatever it counts.

That marketing model I started less than a year ago that I spoke of previously - I control, with my two partners, maybe 0.1% of the entire market. And my niche is in the billions of prospects.

Which gave me a LOT of new opportunities.

Allowing me to ensure [at least partially] the survival of this market.

I think if we begin to stop making the concept of a "niche" so powerfully big, and realize that you can control it with enough WORK, no matter what.

    After all.

Some guy on the forum had a 5-7 [dont remember] Forex product empire. He actually had products COMPETING against HIS OWN products. It looked to me like market control.

He had access to LITERALLY a majority of the Internet automated forex bot population through JV partners [and if he didn't, well shit, realize how much more he could've made by building higher].

After selling his ENTIRE niche control off - well, he was a happy chappie. [Ash, this is for you, buddy. Subliminal coach, green will explain it properly, right? ]

So... niches are just markets to get off your lazy ass to take over. I personally am MUCH to lazy to do this [you know me, i find easier ways].

But niches are not all powerful. They're just for you to control.
Cool signature pending = I'm waiting for someone to say something stupid so I can quote it.
