Couple reasons :

1. We have high converting copy written by a top copywriter in the niche. So as a result, the # of sales would be more.

2. We are also offering the commission on the upsells, so that's extra $$$.

3. We hired a support team to handle the support and minimize refunds.

4. We spent an extensive amount in developing the product as well as the design.

We have invested a lot in the longevity of the product and to ensure that the product converts highly and refunds are at a bare minimum. Hence, for the quality, we are giving a lower %, but putting the product, upsells, high conversions, low refunds into perspective, the overall earnings, we anticipate will be higher.

I don't really see why those reasons are justifiable for lowering you're commission rate since these are points which every vendor should try and improve and maximize no matter what the commission rate is. Also, if you're sales page converts higher surely that would be more of a reason to keep the commission rates at the industry standard since you would be receiving more sales from affiliates.

Also receiving commission on back-end sales seems to be the norm nowadays with most vendor products.

However, the product looks good and I will be promoting it and I wish you all the best with the launch.

I don't promote Forex products either way but this is almost 'philosophical' query in nature...

I do understand what you mean, and while I agree that those are all points that every vendor should improve on, it's also true that each of those points come with a cost. Rather than curbing costs else where and sacrificing quality, we are focusing on delivering "value"

A lot of forex products are fly by one week launches. And yes, the commissions might be slightly higher, but here you will continue to make sales after the launch period and we are hoping to have those sales stick

The last product we gave out 70% commission, higher than the industry standard, but from that experience, we realized that in doing so, we sacrificed other aspects, resulting in higher than expected refunds, and a sub-par quality product. We are doing exactly the opposite this time around.

There are also numerous products out there which such commission structure. Examples being Forex Ripper, Forex Mutant, Forex Neutrino, Forex Profit Launcher, Caliber FX Pro, Forex Torpedo, etc. (All recent launches)

And yes backend sales are common with most products, however, the top products in the niche such as Fapturbo, Forex Megadroid, etc. don't have many backend sales. We are trying to combine the high quality of those types of products with backend sales, great support, high conversions, and low refunds. And thus hoping to create a quality long lived product that we can all profit from.

All I am going to say is that I like making $82 from FAP Turbo, MegaDroid and $92 from Ivybot. I am going to continue promoting those.

I see it from both sides.. but as a publisher in Forex it is very tempting to lower the commission.

Not because I'm greedy and want more cash, but even on my product which is fairly small (at the moment), the amount of support can be horrendous, and that extra 5/10/15% would really help!

However.. having been an aff for several.. I like more % too.

It should have been set 50/50 from day 1 IMO, then there's no cause for arguments.

No problem, I understand. However, at the same time, we have several upsells so while the initial sale might be lower, the upsells will make up for it, as well as the increased number of purchases of the main product.

Newer products tend to convert better as no one has a copy of them yet.

Attention Noobies.. There are 2 different types of list..

We have an opt-in list, and a buyer list.

An opt-in list is where a visitor to your site decided to opt into your mailing list, usually for a free report or for more information about a niche/product.

A buyer list is a list of previous buyers within that niche. and these where collected when they purchased a product.

Why do buyer lists generally convert better?

The visitors have already got their card out once, what's to stop them again?

I'm just concerned about these "$25,000 in prizes" you are advertising and whether or not you are coming through with it. Seriously, how could you possibly do this $25,000 in prizes thing twice in a row and not a SINGLE person mentions winning a prize of any kind. I don't care about winning a prize really, I just want to be sure that you are doing what you promised, that's all.

The prizes are indeed real, you guys get yourself to the top 10 sales (mostly done by big list owners, who bank huge and aren't going to come on here saying 'thanks for my ipod/tv/bonuscash..'). The prizes and names/order of amount of hops each sent/sales made etc. is usually posted to an inner circle email among the winners/top level circle. Again, you guys get yourself in that circle/top 10-20 list owners or sales generated during the launch of any of these bigger fx campaigns and you won't give a flying fack about the prizes believe me...

The one thing I don't agree with, is the review copies - even if 400 affiliates want one, if I were in your shoes I'd give it to them, but that's just me.

From the people I know on this forum, no one has won any, which is why you don't see the posts.

Just to give you an example the top launch prizes for this launch and the one before went to people who had over 400-500 sales...

I think it would be good if you gave NC members a review copy... and only members of NC forum. This way you could control it from a central place. You might even make some sales of NC membership from other affiliates requesting a review copy
