Hi and welcome, there are quite a few people from the UK here (I'm in the North East currently), it is a great forum with more free information than most paid resources I've seen, if you do want to learn then your are in the right place.

    Good luck!

That might be because of people posing as Americans. I know I have done it in the past because my main customer base was American and I wanted them to think we could relate

Hi Daniel and Jimmy. i did wonder if it was easier to be 'American' It is a bigger market and i guess they do not want the hassle of working out the exchange rate etc, we are more used to it in the UK what with the euro and everything. Looking foward to getting my internet marketing rocking now that i have found the right place for help advice and guidance.... Ali
Just a quick question, i have decided to use a alias for my article marketing, do you guys think this is the right way to do it? cheers

I don't really pretend to be american, but just present my business as an american company - basically price in $s - simply because 60%+ of my market is America.. and I think that is probably true of a lot of markets / niches purely because of the sheer size of America

I would probably recommend using a pen name for your articles, but it depends - you might find yourself trying different niches and all sorts of products so having different pen names is probably a good idea, but then if you want to really brand something and have your name attached to it then it could be a good idea to use your actual name... but a lot / most (?) use pen names - especially just for article marketing / setting up mini sites / review sites and the like.

Thanks for that sub, i sort of thought that would be the best way foward for now, in the same way that you may want to brand something good in your own name, i don't want my name to have negatives attached to it while i am still testing out niches etc...
Hi Stew thanks for the welcome, seems there are more brits here than i initially thought ! Ali

Use pen names/aliases simply because it looks a bit strange if your Ezine/other article accounts have articles in all different niches under one name.
