Default Hi, Dan from Submp3s (New vendor)

    Hi everyone,

I've read some good things about this forum and I'm excited to get started and networking with you all

I'm Dan, based in North East England and I am a new vendor on clickbank but reasonably experienced in Internet and affiliate marketing.

We haven't actively promoted our site yet or recruited affiliates as we are making some changes to our site improve our conversion rate (already up to 2.2% from 0.7%). We are not just selling 1 product, but are a whole webstore which is pretty unique for clickbank. The change we are working on is to implement a real checkout system so people can buy multiple items at once rather than having to buy one at a time - we believe this to be a world's first on clickbank and we are really excited and optimistic

This is still a couple of weeks away so I hope to learn from this forum in the meantime, and look forward to sharing our methods, successes (and things which haven't worked) in the future, and learning from other vendors and affilaites alike.

    Dan

    Hi Dan... and welcome also.

I just moved away from North East at the end of August... from Sunderland back to N.Ireland where I originated.

I am aware of a vendor who has multiple products and sounds similar to your store(forget the name now), but I think they are on these forums as well... just very quiet. The url will help

Ok guys, thanks for your interest already:

I really don't want anyone to send traffic now though - it just won't convert that well (and please don't look on our affilaite page, its embarrassing :P). If you wait a couple weeks or so then we will have made some big changes to the site, and I'll be able to let you know some really solid conversion stats (hopefully ), and also I am in the middle of writing 20-30 articles for affilaite use, getting banners made and a full affilaite materials section including a full guide on how to promote us and what works and what doesnt't etc.

Thanks for your interest, always keen to know your thoughts and feedback

Now knowing the site and product range... my initial reaction is... this could be great for upsells to existing contacts/lists etc.

I just showed one of my JV partners the site and he loves it and the potential to complement a few sites we are working on atm... so we're not ready to promote any yet, but there is potential for us to promote them/use them as relevant ad banners to some sites we have etc

This is awesome, and seems to be a slowly emerging niche.
And it appears that you definitely have a wide range available too!

The only thing is that people may want a sample of some sort.

The other day, I heard this guy talking on the radio for a good hour on this exact topic

    Thanks for the warm comments so far Glad you like it! Didn't really mean this to be a product discussion thread but;

@Ganceann: yes, we believe there is a lot of potential and it will work well for email marketing to existing lists, and if you have a specific niche we likely have a product to suit + we will be launching over 100 new albums over the next year at regular intervals.

@Platinum: We are working on providing a sampler next to the add to cart button of the different tracks we offer (replacing the "What you get" text), but we also give away 3 full albums in our newsletter and affiliates will be credited on all sales through the newsletter.

Anyway, we are hoping to relaunch with some changes at the end of this week / beginning of next, and hopefully a week or 2 after this I will make an official announcement and show our conversion stats etc

    Hi there

A cart and a checkout would be easy to add.. i have done this before but with 10 items

Create products in clickbank in product price combinations .. You will have to think of a logic to do that ... A lot of permutations or you can keep it generic by same price for all...

say you have 3 products A,B,C @ 10,15,20 ... and the customer can choose and buy ...
you will have to create products of A-10,B-15,C-20,A&B- 25,A&C30,B&C-35,A&B&C- 45

or you can price them A-15,B-15,C-15 and then offer bundle prices of 15,30 or 45.

You will also have to limit the bundle numbers as clickbank has to approve of the price point if all the bundles are selected. say if you have 10 different products at $25 then if the customer chooses to buy all of them, you will have to get approved by clickbank to sell a product upto $250.

    Thanks

@Vinruna: Aww were not the only ones ever This is pretty much what were doing, only that we have currently 150+ products, all the same price, and a maximum basket size of 30 items, but to further complicate things we have a discount structure for multi-buys ranging from 10, 20, 30, 40, up to 50% discount for 30 items. This makes the math a bit more complicated, over my head :P but our developer has it handled
