This is the time of year when every one is making predictions and new years resolutions for the up and coming year.

I am no different from the average person on this forum in doing so, but in this case I think I do differ a little from most.

It all started about six weeks ago when my wife and I were having our daily coffee at our local Starbucks, and met this single mother, with 5 small children, who was putting up a posting on the bulletin board, looking for a part time job as a girl Friday.

We started up a conversation with her and found her to be smart, pleasant and on top of that she had computer and data entering skills.

Her main problem in getting employment was that she had only free baby sitting for about 4 hr. per day and limited transportation.

Long story short I/we hired her to do the bum work on some of my Internet projects for the 4 hr per day 5 days per week.

Now, this is where it became interesting for me and my new years resolution kicks in.

As I started showing her some of the ins and outs about the work she had to do for me, she turned out to be a natural and seem to have a knack for the concept of Internet Marketing in general and also turned out to be a wicked article writer.

The idea was born to take her as well as take on two more persons (that is all I have room for in my office) and have my private "boiler room" to teach them the finer points of Internet Marketing at no cost to them and FREE labor for me.

The criteria to get in the "program" were that they had to have the need and have the desire to do this, fit in with everyone else, and be able to commit for 3 months.

After that they leave and have to "Pay it Forward".

In fact I will pay them minimum wage while they are "working" in my office for the duration of the 3 months.

It took some time to find two more people but we did it through the help from some good friends.

My wife graciously gave me a $10.000.00 budget to "get this out of my system" as she calls it, and with that I set up 3 new computer systems for the new "students" with money left over to pay them.

Nothing special but with two 18.5" monitors each I think they will be happy with that. I know I would be.

The planed starting date for the new guys is Jan. 10/2010 and we will see how this works out.

I will be taking on more projects, as each one of them has to setup a marketing project and promote it with bum marketing only, to the point that it makes more money then that I pay them.

After the 3 month are up and they are some what educated in the art of bum marketing they get to take the site that they made with them and the next group can start, (or not).

We will be going in all methods of making money on line but will only use bum marketing for there FREE site.

The whole thing seems like a good idea at the moment, although I am not sure about inviting three strangers into my house, I know this is what I have to do.

So... Why do I do that...

Because I Can ???

During my time on this "Me First" planet, I have had the good fortune to have a person in my life who was all about "Giving" and "Pay It Forward".

I was given kindness and wisdom when I needed it most or els would have ended up in jail as a client and not a staff.

That person will stay anonymous but will hereby be thanked publicly as it is
my turn to "Pay it Forward".

PS... PROOF THAT IT WORKS !!!

Today I received an email from the Dutch Pension Plan that they are sending me a cheque for my pension from the time I worked there.

Retroactive $15.000.00. So I made 15K to day on the Internet.

For those of you who think my title for the article was misleading I ask you this: Would you have read it if it had said "I am teaching for free".

Maybe not. But, it is a marketing forum after all and I did "make" $15.000.00 today... Did You?

Nice job and way to think bigger. There are a good amount of single moms that are both hard workers and fast learners, and they always have some free time to spend on work everyday (actually my best workers are single moms and down south farmers).

If you are hesitant about inviting them into your home, there are other options to use. Goto meeting works great for teaching and conversing with workers. Odesk isn't bad for keeping track of their progress and work time, and most people these days have a computer and high speed internet at home.

Just giving an idea if you wanted to go in another direction, but your current set up will keep them on track a lot better.

Lucky students: Actually the 3 persons that were chosen had there fair share of Bad luck in their life so it was about time for the tide to change and I am glad to play a small roll in that.

Really kind of you: There is a lot of selfishness involved with my Kindness . It is something that gives me great pleasure and when it is all done there will hopefully be 3 more friends in my life. So as you see I am the one who has a great benefit in this boiler room and if done right there will be enough money left over to do it again, and again and again.

Also, I particularly enjoy your terms - especially the requirement for your students to be people who have been going through a streak of bad luck, and also that you inspire them to pay it forward at the end.

We start on Monday.

I will wait with the updates for a few weeks to see how it progresses.

We will be going into the CPA market and get some campaigns going for each person.

The hard part for my students, As well as any new marketer, will be to be accepted by the CPA Network Publishers.

I believe I have some work around methods for that that I think will work.

To get them started I compiled this 80+ page step by step manual for them with tons of links in it for most if not all the tools and sites that they need to succeed in CPA.

We will see if they have what it takes real soon.

This is great! I think it's important to give back in ways in which we can.

I actually have a similar plan to give back (and have already started doing so, on a smaller scale). It's kinda like an ideal, but it's definitely something I want to get into, once I stabilise my online income.
