Hey guys,

just coming in to drop a line about a trick I personally use for SEO-ing many review pages that I use to promote products - and it has worked beautifully.

Here's what you do.... after you create your landing review page of whatever product you wish to promote, follow these steps:

1. Write a high quality article for bloggers to use - soemthing that gives serious value in that niche.

2. At the bottom of the article, add a signature and anchor link it with the text to your review page!

3. Now go out and email a few bloggers (through RSS) and ask if they'd be willing to accept free fresh content from you in exchange for including your link in there!

Believe me - many are dying for good content on their blogs and this gives your review page good SEO.

This is a powerful and valuable tip - feel free to ask me any questions to use for whatever!

I have never tried this but heard about it.. Kim Roach (IM lesser deity who is actually on this forum) teaches it in great detail.

Vadym I think you are wrong, the bloggers you would contact would of course have to be big established names in the niche, not some smalltimers. And the content would have to be top notch. Then they would be happy to accept your content AND establish a relationship, instead of screwing you over once.

Kim made a topic on this forum (but also on other sites) about where you can find guest blogging opportunities. Look it up. She probably has a lot of tips about it on her blog too (havent looked there lately).

I mean, it would be the same as using something like MyArticleNetwork or Linkvana... but your way sounds like a lot more work...

Correct - this idea works well - simply do your due diligence on the blogs using your work.

1. Ensure they have been around a while and have a following

http//whois.sc/DOMAINNAME.???

2. Get an idea about their traffic. I tend to start off most correspondence and ask about advertising to get a feel for their traffic - if the #s are right ya never know - but you do find out good stats.
3. Pick up their KW and search them - how close are they to the top for the KW you are trying to covet?

Again, do some work on their background - I wouldn't waste time with a fledgling blog with a PR1 and a bad feed, or... picking up on a blog that has nothing but someone elses feeds and mishmashed content.

But, this method does work - as well, its a lot easier to add in some other links within your post to your other articles once you and the WM get to know one another.

And while I'm sold on this point, you're right, I'll fall back on my next one.

It's too much work. Easier to automated a dozen links for me than to take the time to write/review top notch content. Not to mention having to set up the partnerships first, before writing the content, to make sure noone is upset with the content, etc...

Still not the "more powerful SEO method" that I'd consider a thread title like this to be.

It's one of the more powerful ways to get natural one-way backlinks for sure.

Yes, there are more powerful methods as well - but this one has worked quite consistently for myself as well as others.

By the way to answer that question .... yes, only write the article when you have a blogger or so COMMITTED to taking in your content this saves you energy and I'd have a few articles on hand.

And yes, you can give several bloggers the same article. I'm usually pretty upfront with them saying "hey, this goes out to only a few of our chosen bloggers to use". Then, I write a new article for use after several are given out.

Again, solid one-way links in natural progression.
