Hi From A Texan in Cooler Arizona

    Hello everyone.

Although I've been a Internet user for 17 years this is my 1st venture into online marketing. My son and I are in the process of puting up a niche website named http://bikertshirtsandtanks.com If you go and take a look please remember that at this date (7/19) it is still a work in progress. Should be finished in a couple of days though.

I'm originally from the Texas Panhandle and now live in the Arizona mountains. I'm semi-retired after being in the supper club and cocktail lounge business in Texas for 30 years. I sold my business 5 years ago and moved to Arizona to be with mt son. Taking early SS retirement and being semi-retired just isn't enableing the lifestyle I had become used to...lol

I've been seriously looking around the Internet for a couple of years for a Internet business that would make money. I was getting kind of discouraged as everything I looked at and researched turned out to be a scam, MLM, or worse. I'm sure some of you will be able to relate to this! I started noticing some stuff about affilate marketing and it made sense to me. Knowing the power of the Internet, here I am! I'm in business for myself and controll my own destiny again. I'm re-excited and will be giving Niche Choppers a shot.

I built this website 9 years ago and it will tell you a little bit more about me.
http://trails_end.tripod.com You could never tell by this posting but I'm really not to chatty...lol I'll be seeing you around this forum and reading you messages.

    Welcome to the forum :P

I can definitely say there are many many scams and MLM 'opportunities' available on the internet... but affiliate marketing can easily kick them all into touch (it just depends how you approach affiliate marketing).

Clickbank are a reliable affiliate marketplace - but many of the products are poor quality (that doesn't mean they don't sell... just poor quality in my opinion). There are also many affiliate networks that offer plenty of dubious products and I have avoided most of them.

I think everyone on here is primarily looking to make a full-time income from affiliate marketing and hopefully together we all achieve it :P

    Cheers and welcome Band.

I'm honored that you went into so much detail mate Really nice to see someone come from the core. First thing is first, I want you to know that I set this place up to a) bypass all the crap you'll get at most forums and zoom in on important campaigning methods b) to aggregate a strong team for our product lines and partners lines c) To train everyone to be the best internet marketer possible within the shortest amount of time possible.

I've chosen clickbank as a publisher because it really optimizes business for both my affiliate base and for all the top level accounts... Having said all that - there is nothing here for you to purchase, nothing for us to hide, and by becoming a private forum recently it has become a good little buzz for all who join and see that there are no kids here - and or they grow up quick...

If you are use to building and maintaining sites and have html/editor/wysiwyg experience then you are half way there already Take a good read through the ClickBank Sticky posts (the first two posts re beginner guides) and that will paint the picture for you clearly on how we monetize here quickly...

Also, please don't be shy, we need people like you to ask questions, ask for help, get opinions on your landing pages and campaigning assets to help you optimize and maximize them

It's also traditional for new comers to also welcome the next person that joined after you or before you - so please say hello to the next Chopper and don't stop posting!

    Norb.
