Not bad but it could be better. I am selling, at the moment, blog about walk in freezers and cluster blogs (10) bodybuilding niche.
Walk in freezers are up to $18,000 per sale and I will earn 4-6% (amazon.com)
adsense is $34 so far,self writing blog.

It is easy to sell health/exercise websites
everything else takes forever or never
Out of 10 websites/blogs I sell 30% for the price I wanted; 20% for a discounted price but still with a little profit and the rest never.

Recently, it was a site about hamsters nobody wanted.Obscure niche , you can't even get decent adsense ad on your site. Now, I go to flippa first,find something just sold out and recreate something similar.

I test it at webmaster-talk dot com, it is like a flippa but free listing. People ask questions and all that stuff. After, if I don't sell it I tweak it and try on flippa.

Video makes a difference!!! Make 5 minute video and tell them about benefits,proof, why is valuable,if you don't have a proof talk about how profitable is it, research it,show them potential.It works,tell them that you did.Extensive research, and that you have a list of premium profitable keywords they can use to drive traffic and improve rankings.

If you don't try nothing will happen.You WILL fail many times but it will give you experience you can't find otherwise.

It was $9 first month and then in the end, the last month was $90 something, don't remember really sorry.

Video, try jingproject,they give you up to 5 minutes.Enough for you to show everything.Have it all opened,tabs, proof,pictures, and what you want to say...

In my opinion site flipping takes too much time and money... maybe I never did it right (actually I never did it at all) just from the sales that I'm seeing.

Working on a site for 9 months and selling it for 600$ just doesn't seem that great to me.

However I do congratulate you on your recent successes

You don't have to work on it for 9 months. You work on it for two weeks and not 24hrs a day, only a few, then WAIT a year and cash in. I've done it many times and it's good extra cash. Time flies by!

SirKhans right - patience, patience patience... you have to let these things stew and cook for a while. As well, every so often I'll include the site in one of the articles I write in some small fashion as long as it pertains to the same info.

that is really good profit. I also liked the idea of using the video to convince the buyers and getting that sale. A site that makes $90 from adsense and flipping it for $500 is a really good job.

Escrow.com doesn't work for me ..

I prefer to use BuyDomains.com and their other escrow site Afternic.com ..

Seeing that Afternic has such a following - why then are people using Flippa when Afternic charges for the whole year what flippa charges for one listing.. or did I miss something?

bluff, it's called good marketing no matter how much will Flippa charge people will still pay it
