Quite a few people are PM'ing me asking for access or understanding of the VIP section. I can't seem to find the other thread regarding the rules/how to get in etc. so:
We haven't had too much activity in the VIP section, and we haven't promoted but a handful of people to VIP in the last quarter of the year...
To become a VIP, you:
* Must have 100 posts
* Must have 100 rep
* Must have contributed something great to the community (you started at least ONE great thread)
* You can bypass all of this in a few ways, as you can see, some of the members become VIP's instantly. This happens because the member is already a CB pro, has a top 10 product on the charts, has been around the other forums or is well known, and a flurry of other random exceptions, however for the most part the above 3 requirements can literally be obtained in under a week if you ask me.
Having said that, if you are 'almost there' or if you've been here for a few months now and only have 30 or so posts, now is your chance to become a VIP - all I will ask is that you post a great contribution (thread) somewhere on the forum within the next few days, and Ashley or myself will bump you to VIP.
If you have MET all the requirements already, and have not been bumped yet, please post in this thread and we'll get you setup.
**Lastly - when you do become a VIP, please be prepared to contribute something of VIP value when you enter the VIP section.
Others: You probably don't even know a VIP section exists, because you don't see the forum category for it anywhere, and you won't - it's programmed so that ONLY VIP's can see the forum section to begin with...
Cheers to becoming VIP's! (NOTE: The WHOLE BOARD is considered a VIP board, however this is the 'VIP of the VIP' if you will, and no you cannot buy your way in there, and no your membership fee does not cover this when you become a NicheChopper - this section is more of a respect based entry, filled with... well I would rather not say/spoil it, but it's well worth the effort to gain access).

No buying your way in - but yes nice try... A few great posts usually do it, I'd say you're pretty close anyway.
