Don't worry I am going to post some conversions very soon in a week or so.

At the moment the traffic is very random and sporadic, will wait for it to settle down and post some screen shots.

Although saying that Gravity is rising nicely on this one and the videos seem to be improving conversion rates.

But... if you cant play next to them you may be able to join them - Why not give a call and see if you can get your work signed up first and become the ONLY MW Go To product - offer them a percentage of sales. Let them know the work is done, you belong to a large group of affiliates and that your material is top notch. It wouldn't hurt to ask... and a small percentage beats out 0 every time. Then again, if you are the recommended product - sales should be pretty nice.

Turning away easy money is easy for any corporation to do.

In terms of easy money, a company may spend significantly more trying to achieve the right branding. The way some affiliates promote materials could make any "easy money" disappear in lost revenue in the long-term.

In saying that, there is no harm in asking to work together and having them behind you. However, they may simply brush you aside and look at what they can do themselves (and charge more for) etc.

Yes, he would still promote it as a mafia wars guide, under a different name which doesn't contain 'mafia wars'. This isn't illegal, just as Photoshop tutorials are not illegal.

What is illegal is using the trademarked term mafia wars in the domain name, and using their logo.
If you get rid of these two.. you're okay.

I've had a lot of experience with this. My product Homebreware, was first submitted as Homebrewii, CB wouldn't accept it since it had the trademarked name wii and it contained the logo of wii on the page.

I had to remove all trademarked images, get a new domain that doesn't contain Wii in the name, and other minor changes, until they agreed to approve.

I think the OP can recover from this situation by applying these changes.
