Forex Phantom FINALLY LAUNCHED

So after all the crap and all the delays, we HAVE A LAUNCH DATE FOR THE PHANTOM.

Sept. 8th marks what should have launched over 6 months ago now. I don't want to say too much about it just yet other than to share the news with you guys because I know some of you want to tear my head off for the delays.

Braden will be here shortly to let you know about the rest - I may or may not be in the country when this launches however wish you guys all the best with this one.

I'm HAPPPPPY that we're finally getting this one off the ground...

Hey Braden,

Some slightly geeky forex questions about the Phantom ...

- The trading example indicates EURUSD on M15, is this it's sole setting, or will it work on other currency pairs / timeframes also?
- Does it work with 5 digit brokers?
- As it says that it makes use of SL & TP, I'm guessing that it's not NFA compliant and will need to be used on non-US based brokers only?

Let me know.

Also, when Norb was in charge it used to be possible to get a demo version ... is this still possible?

Yes, the Eur/Usd is the sole setting at M15. It will work on 5 digit brokers. Yes, it can still use Sl and Tp and be NFA compliant its just that they dont allow hedging which this doesn't. So it should be ok.

Try using product id fxphantomfor. This is will also be updated on the affiliate page. This is one of the click2sell differences.

I've recently been building a decent forex list. Seems pretty responsive so far, not too many have cancelled their subscription which is good.

So I think we could do with some emails - not just 3 different promo emails, but an email series (early leak, pre-launch, launch day, day after launch etc)

Hi gang,

Jumping in on Braden's behalf for this one: So far with all of the launches we've done that have had prelaunch/launch/post launch, have not been followed through on.

None of the large forex list owners actually participate in more than 2 emails tops most times. In review, emailing your list 3-5 times turns into everyone battling and overwriting each others cookies pre-launch, which is nice for competition and for grav diversification however most customers have now SEEN FIRST HAND how these pre-launches and multi-emails work.

Remember the forex enthusiasts that keep buying EA's from CB are well versed with the process now, they buy with their own links, they know what email marketing is better than MMO's in some instances, and I don't think for this instance it will be wise to do more than 2 emails to your lists: One on launch day, and one 2-4 days after.

If you guys are in fact well connected to your lists, and communicate with them often, then I would suggest writing up your own email pitch to them regarding the launch if you want to do an email for the weekend or for Monday the day before the launch.

We will have launch email templates (2 to choose from) up by tomorrow.

The affiliates page has been updated with the proper affiliate link format to use which is:

hxxp://XXXXXXX.fxphantomfor.click2sell.eu << Replace 'hxxp' with 'http' and 'xxxxxxxx' with your Click2Sell ID.

We're both still new to Click2Sell so not sure how to do direct links to payment pages and all the other tweaks they may or may not offer. Knowledge will come over time about Click2Sell or perhaps some of you lurkers are already there and can share (or you guys might figure it out before we do - again please share).

FYI,

Add a ?checkout string at the end of your affiliate link and all customers will be brought to the checkout page directly bypassing the sales page.

This is click2sell, not clickbank. You're comparing apples with pears here Willy. Different things work in different ways

It only fires if the users machine hasn't been cookied yet (and even then it's unproven or wonky). Meaning if another affiliate has already cookied them, and you try ^ that method, you will lose the commission to the first affiliate. All this really does is redirect them to the payment page, it does NOT cookie the user. Try for yourself and see, cookie yourself with one hoplink ID, then try the above with a different hoplink ID... Also - seeing your name in the url up top in the browser after a click does NOT always mean a cookie has been served mate - always click through to the payment page on CB and see if your name is on the bottom. (all pretty basic).

The only way would be:

User to lander > Clicks the 'buy now' link > goes to a redirect page which is i-framed with your hoplink > redirects to payment URL (standard 1.product.pay.clickbank.net)... This way you're not 'technically' cookie stuffing because the user only gets served on the buy now click.

Actually quite impressed with C2S as far as functionality and options goes - has more flexibility than CB but nowhere near the AFF base, which will be good for the family here

Nobody will really know when it 'launched' because technically you guys can already start making sales on it now as the process has been finalized as have the pages. If you want to alter or customize the emails to some degree so it matches your lists/timezones/etc. better please feel free.
