Welcome to the forum... but help is an ambiguous term as there are so many ways help can be given when we know more details of specific help required.
Technical help?
marketing help?
specific help on topic x? :P
The more detailed the request, the more useful the guidance given.
Hi Ganceann,
Welcome aboard to the NC family...we're all here with the same purpose and the same goal...making money and hopefully lots of it
Defiently marketing help. Ive got alot of technical skill, been in the web hosting / linux game for a long time.. This is the first time im trying affiliate marketing, ive made 4 sales 3 of em being water4gas products (puke) and 1x forex tracer. Im not getting enough traffic, ive got about 7 articles running at the moment, and i didnt really recieve much traffic.
Is there anyone that wants to take me under their wing for a while, till things start improving?
Regards Ryan
I am also a novice affiliate marketer... my 'experience' is more along the lines of article writing and there are many different styles of articles that can attract visitors... but the most important part of any article is the title.
If you know the type of person who will buy a particular product, you will also hopefully know what will draw their attention and therefore at least get them to read a part of the article and hopefully click onto your landing page and then onto the sales page.
There are also many other things that go into writing an article - keyword research is one main thing when you are looking to get the article ranked in search results pages.
Even though I describe myself as an article writer, virtually all my previous articles had to be written to the specifications of the person wanting the article written - so it wasn't a case of me doing the keyword research myself. I had to take the keywords they wanted and include them along with relevant content that was informative to the people they wanted to attract.
One piece of advice I can offer is that any article you write is not directly aimed at selling the product... it is about creating the desire for the person reading the article to want to find out more information... they will then be more inclined to want to click through to your landing page.
The landing page is crucial as well. It should have informative content but shouldn't be excessive. The main aim is to drive the traffic landing on your page to the merchant and then having the merchant sales page close the sale for you.
So true, I really need to get into this.. Im making it my GOAL to make atleased $1000 every paycheck, hopefully i can achieve this.
