CPA Time - E-Mail Marketing

OK so its time to try out CPA I have picked my product and I want to test it out on my email list however I am not sure how to go about doing it. The product is a diabetic meal planner which is free for submitting information.

I obviously need to add the supression file as I am using neverblue ads, how do I do this?

Secondly, do I try to sell the product to the subscribers or not?

Is there any surefire way to get a good conversion rate or something I need to watch out for when using CPA?
