For the past year I've made my keep with CPA using PPC to drive traffic. In the past few months though, Google has been quite the booger with CPA offers. It seems that I can't go 2 weeks without getting manually reviewed and slapped. I'm pretty sure that it's not my landing page, but that it's because I'm running CPA offers. I've put together some top notch sites full of original, quality content. However, Google still is killing my campaigns.
Thus, I've started my journey into making money with CPA via Web 2.0 marketing and SEM. So far, it hasn't been all that great. I think my marketing efforts have netted me a staggering $10 or so over the last week. But, 1 week in SEM doesn't really mean much.
I'm seriously debating starting a journal on this to keep me accountable. On the other hand, I don't really know how hard I'll be able to push this effort with everything else I have on my plate right now. I'm already working on a half dozen other sites at the moment and I'm not sure if adding another into the mix is a smart move.
I guess my reason for starting this thread is two-fold. First, I want to see if anyone here has had any success with CPA from organic traffic. Second, I want to see if anyone would be willing to do a "group case study" on this with me. Meaning, I'll bare all in this journal - the website, the keywords, the exact marketing methods, etc. However, this won't be something that you just come and read. I'll be looking for extensive feedback on this. I'll be looking for ideas on keywords and marketing methods. The more people that would participate in this group case study, the more we all stand to learn.
Hell, if this works I'll split the profits with everyone that participates.
