Not too much traffic from affiliates ... a little from a good amount of them.

Going to revert back to my harder sell (which converted 1-2% without a lander)... maybe thats what this market needs.

I hate bumping my own threads - however I do have a pretty major update.

Sales Page

After the first 24 hours of traffic and watching browser recordings of visitors, I'm reverting the sales page to my pre-launch version.

This version converted 1-2% with direct linked PPC traffic as I had mentioned previously and honestly I was foolish to totally revamp it.

The sales pitch is a MUCH stronger tone and the copy is much shorter - but that seems to just work for this market.

With the shorter sales page a $49.97 price point is't going to work.

As so, the new price is $37 (which is also what I was using for initial testing) and I'm expecting affiliates pop some cherries.

An exit popup offers it at $25 (33% off) and a last-ditch $12 (of which the $12 worked surprisingly well in my pre-launch testing).

If you have any comments or critique I am more than happy to hear it out - this is my first product and it seems I'm making the 1st product mistakes...

Nonetheless I will continue on and make this work.

The only thing I would change, is to put a little bit more whitespace, in between the red (h3) titles...

This white space is intended to keep an even balance, which will also draw your reader in more, to "keep on reading..."

For example, in "dear job seeking friend" it ends with "wondering how i know this?" Don't be affraid to put some more whitespace in between 'wondering how i know this' and 'i used to rip up candidates....'

Although it is a sales 'letter' you want them to be able to tell when you are changing gears, to keep sucking them in deeper and deeper.

Well I will add this to my job search site, and send this out to my job seeker list today, and hopefully something happens!



PS: I like that part: "I used to rip up candidates resumes right in front of their faces!!"
PSS: I like the exit scripts too.

Yes an affiliate just popped the 1st sale after just 45 hops with direct traffic.

I will be changing over my Paypal links to CB today to get all stats merged.

When I get back to my comp I will add in some more white space - thanks plat.

Hey Tony - been going ok... Traffic is pretty minimal across the board to be perfectly honest and there really isn't enough hard data to say anything.

However, as far as going with a different TLD go right ahead.

i didn't hit my job search list yet, but I will tomorrow... my smtp was acting up on friday so I didnt get a chance.. But don't trip, I already prepared the email, and re did the 10 sins download I hope it works out!!
