Part 1 of the rest of my life

Yup.

Today is the day.

Today, I finished education.

Today, I start IM full time.

Today, is the beginning of the rest of my life.

This is a proud moment, and after 15 years of education, I'm leaving the gates for the last time. I will always continue to learn throughout life, but now I can learn what I want, when I want.

Part 2 will be following hopefully within a couple of months - When I quit my 1 day a week (petrol money) job.

Finally. I've always had a prejudice about people who do part-time affiliate marketing, and then whine that they're not earning 30 g's a month, so it's nice to see someone taking this seriously.

Is it only myself who is doing a University degree here?!? I have 3 years left in University before I leave and do IM full time however by that time I am hoping I will already a big IM portfolio and a big enough wage each month to let me and my GF go travelling for a couple of months before we settle down and get a pad.

Ah yes, I read just you confused me with the college thing...I was thinking perhaps it wasn't a degree.

Here in the states we really don't say "going to university." Everyone says "going to college." So I was trying to satisfy both fronts with my statement. Perhaps just made it more confusing though...

Liverpool Uni for me, doing financial economics but i really wish i hadnt now! Big exam tomorrow so im up all night revising/learning!

Ah really, so we both just did our first year at University. It seems me and you are travelling the same path at the moment then, my course is 4 years though so you will be finished before me too :P

Ive done my 5 years of higher education but i wish i knew IM while i was at university because my second year was very difficult with no money and no job, basically it sucked.

Here in the states we just call them classes -- college and university are two different things.

I happen to be a drop out... well, currently that is. I've gone through two years of pre-med and one year of Culinary Arts (never completing them). I will however go back to school and try to fit in else where (different career). I will probably end up with a degree in I.T, just for sh!ts and giggles.

My ultimate goal in life is to build a large datacenter housing servers. It's something I love but had trouble facing it because of the "nerd" aspect. But honestly, I don't really care as long as I'm good at what I do.
