Hello everyone,

This is a bit of a heads up, I have a product coming soon.

I have gone for the heartburn niche. The reason I chose the niche was simple, I have done very well in the niche as an affiliate.

I have got the site up it is currently going through lots of testing and so far so good.

I initially thought the price of $47 might be a little high as there are other products in the niche that are priced lower, I have found that people are willing to pay $47 though.

I have another month of planned testing before I go live.

I still need to experiment with Exit scripts and Im trying to get best CTR from adwords to give all affiliates the best posible chance of making money,

(I will release my best campaign to ONLY 1 affiliate - Its making me $120 profit a day at the moment and Ive not finished tweaking it yet.)

I have 5 testimonials - Im not sure if I should add them to the sales page, what do the rest of you think? I will test it of course, just want to hear what others think

Ive registered KillGerd.com too - do you think I should do a quite rebrand for the retards that can not spell conquer? (Im a rubbish speller but even I can manage that...)

I'm excited to see another product in this niche. About 3 months ago I was doing 3-4 sales per day of the top heartburn product on Clickbank, but something happened and the product started converting like crap. I ended up killing the campaign about a month ago.

If this thing is converting for you via PPC, then I will definitely give this one a go once it's fully launched.

A quick google search tells me it it somthing to do with encoding, Im sure Ive just done something stupid, its on all ! - ... etc chars.

Im guessing its computer fonts.. I have used impact on it, I thought it was a safe font but I guess not, might just go for classic verdana.

That would need to be split tested...

Second, I THINK you would convert better with a longer sales letter, it's quite short for a $47 product... but of course that would need to be split tested too.

You don't want to ramble just to have words in there though, lol.

david: the best prog i can recommend for image resizing (for free) is irfanview. best image program i have ever used, you should give it a try!

I am creating ANOTHER version of the sales copy at the moment to try ANOTHER split test, I have also got some bonuses I need to add as well.

I will be testing out 4 tips Ive been given to increase conversions in the next version of the sales copy.

I will say ive had as good as 20%, but that stopped without me changing anything... :S

now getting more like 2% which in my eyes is just not good enough, 1 in 50 is not bad but its not great and that only seems to work with a presell sob story.

Straight to sales page is very up and down so ill wait and share that when it becomes more stable.

## General Update ##

I am working very hard on this at the moment Im just getting all my different test versions together so I can just have a month of testing. which Im planning to star next month as im moving house so need to start packin in a week or so.

I have got what I think is a pretty sweet exit script youll see what I mean when it live.

Has anyone tried the low initial investment and then a larger payment taken in a month??

for example say my price was $50 I could let people get it for $5 and try it for a month if after a month they are not happy they can get a refund on there $5 if however they are happy then they will be billed another $45.

As affiliates what do you think to a product that has this procing structure? would you be against it as you have to wait a month for the larger amount of cash??

Or if it increased conversions would you be fine with it? I know personally if it meant more sales I would be happy to wait but your thoughts are important me so please share

It's a NoNo when Norb did it on NC (I remember reading in the thread).

Of course this is just MMO, who know about Clickbank etc, so might not apply to you.

But.. As you're offering the 60 day money back guarantee, unless you can protect your .pdf, people will purchase for $5 then refund, keeping their pdf, and not even giving you a chance to harvest a few $$. I know that if it's $45 you still don't get your money, but at least you're not offering your decent product for small change.

With NC apparently the refund rate hit the roof, due to people buying that 3 day trial, then just stealing all the info and refunding before they were billed the rest.

Anyway, that's MMO not your health niche.

Maybe one to split test? You can set up trials in CB.

I understand it's an attractive feature to a potential customer, but IMO when you're displaying your refund guarantee, it COULD spell disaster.

I think I may give it a test at some point, unless lots of affs hear say same as you ash.

Actually, thats the same thing that got a few other ebook marketers in trouble-in the health niche. So you'd be better off letting your customer buy it and forget about it as opposed to them getting second thoughts after purchase and deciding to refund it.

I think you would have alot of cancellations... something similar was tried on this forum already and the result wasn't pretty from what I understand...

I have put that idea to the side for now, maybe test that with another product... or forget about it all together.

I have got a revised version of the sales page up, there are a few changes over the last version, I have not fully checked everything yet as I have not ppc running at the moment and as such im getting almost no traffic.

Please take look let me know what you think... Im testing a different way of doing upsells, well it seems to be different in this world anyway, in eccom is pretty standard practice to get the upsell in before payment is taken.

I have put in an exit script too.

No update of any use but ill give you all the story so far!

I recently moved house but the internet is not hooked up.. great! so spent a week or so talking ot BT and there not being a fault with the line then there was a fault with the line and they would try and fix it. well time passed and they finally got back to me and nope it can not be fixed. it I want BT to give me an internet connect then it will be slower than dial up if it even works at all and they said that they thought most of the time it wouldnt!

well thats just great I want to work full time on line but I cant even get online at home! well I tried all the usual suspects to try and get a connection and nothing - no one could offer to give me a connection as they all use the BT lines.. we have two phone lines to our house btw and the phones work great the internet just doesnt.. I have no idea why / how this can be but its how it is!

next stop virgin and there cool ultra fast interent although costly it looked to be my only option and well super fast internet would be awesome.. oh no we are not covered by there service ... brilliant!

So I now have a vodafone dongle thingy and its slow .... when it actually runs on my laptop without erroring.

So I am now catching up on lots of bits and pieces and then I will be putting this product live!

I also brought a new (15 year old) car at the weekend, Its an MR2 Turbo - Jap import for any one that cares... the engine is sweet as a nut although has some 91k miles on it, but it also has a recent dyno showing 260Bhp thats a cool 110bhp more than my previouse car which I still currently have.. need to sell that.. Ash interested?? The car is white and the body work is a bit tatty but I will get that sorted.. keep thoughs CB checks coming
