OMG!! My first sale using Article Marketing!

OMG I am so excited. I'm only 14 and I've officially made money online!

I just got home from school and I checked ClickBank to see $31.86 in my account! I'm also proud to say that I did it promoting a fellow member here! I'm promoting Flipping Fool!

I hope I can get more sales this easy because the article I wrote has only been live since 4/17.

Congrats, most of us forget how good it feels to make that first sale, so it is nice to be reminded now and again.

you will hear "rinse and repeat" mentioned a lot and it really is true, work out what works and keep doing it over and over again. I spent several months trying to diversify, going after big launches but didn't manage to repeat the success I had before, as soon as i created clones of the sites I started with I began to make more money again! As a tease and hopefully inspiration this is one of my accounts for last 4 weeks:

About $1500 in less than 4 weeks, I only started doing this part time and only had my first real success last July.

All those that have kids, take note here, a grade 8/9 is posting their first sale with an internal product here - perhaps it's time for a 'take your kid to work day' and show them the ropes...

I started with HTML and php when I was 13. It makes me wonder that if I'd taken the marketing route instead of the web development route when I was younger if I'd be any richer now. However the way I see it is that I've learned the basics of building and creating amazing sites, now I can focus on making money from them whilst others struggle with even putting a landing page together!

Blah guys, wish I had a computer when I was 13-14. I paid for my computer myself when I was aged 15, my first computer ahhh but that had no Internet (couldnt afford it), I do wonder if I had the equipment would I have been able to get a quicker start.

I only got my first PC when I was 16 after I got a part time job at tesco. When I was younger I used the family PC when I got home from school.

Fair enough, meh family couldnt afford one so I had to buy mine myself, then again I bought most things myself bikes...some clothes...consoles...games....dvds...computers....golf clubs?!....camera....guitars.....

It's nice not having to rely on your parents as soon as you want some new shoes or whatever. I bought my computer myself too, it's a 3.06 GHz 24" iMac

Nice, not to keen on Imac's I am on my fourth computer now and my 7th build. I won't bore you with the specs but its the SEX!

It is indeed Lem, I think thats a good point to cover especially for those as young as you and ambrown and I can also relate just in other ways than IM because I couldnt do that at the time but it seems more kids are striving to be financially indepenant or at least as you said be able to buy that nice pair of shoes you see in a shop.

The way I used to motivate myself to work was to always have a goal with the money I would earn. For example my first computer set me back £300 and I obviously couldnt do IM because I wasn't online yet so I used to do bricklaying and general labour work with my dad so I would keep the goal in mind everytime I could not be bothered getting up in the morning.

To build, I spent £1,000ish for just the tower. Where did you get yours from? Build it yourself or purchase built?

By the way its not how much you spent its the performance

I got it from Overclockers UK - I love that site. i've bought everything there. My PC was a custom build but they put it together for no extra cost.

Fair enough. Yeah thats where I get all my computer parts from. You sure they added no extra cost they usually add extra costs or bump the prices of the compononets up.

Anyways, so go on what spec you got lets see who's is best on spec :P
