?? I dun get it.....?? Tangible goods.. experience? Advice?

I was told by a smartguy on DP to leave eBooks and stuff and sell tangible products to make dah moniez... While I don't see how a 4-8% Amazon commission will help me become a billionaire, and I know that dropshipping etc is not for me (yet?) I have to ask out of curiosity if there are any good networks that you can make additional income with? I learned long time ago that diversification is the key...
    thanks

Personally Ive made lots more money with IM (ebooks and software) than I ever did with dropshipping (margins are not big enough to make good money - although the new pricing of ebay does make it easier to turn a nice profit).

The obvious key to dropshipping is finding the ryt supplier, as yet ive not found one that im happy with.

If anyone here knows of any good suppliers do share

    cheers,

If you really want to promote tangible goods there is always CJ, although I'm not a fan. Some CPA networks also have offers for tangible goods but I'm in love with the information product world.

dropshipping can be very lucrative if you have the right market/suppliers, get legit and form a business so you can buy wholesale, just like a brick and mortar store, set up an ecommerce store, then use your internet marketing prowess to generate teh moniez. people like tangible products..

cj, pepperjam, googles affiliate network, and lots more all have tangible products.

amazon is really good at increasing your overall sales, but now you can't do ppc with amazon, which blows

still, find a niche market product(tangible) on cj, like blue picnic baskets, or water shoes or something, and take over ppc+search rankings.

because most of us concentrate on informational products, there is normally little competition

dropshipping can be a hassle, but only until you can hire someone to do all the grunt work

Thanks guys! Interesting options... I went on yesterday to search CPA networks for tangible products and I came across one that might worth a shot (or SIMILAR producst/offers to this) if the visitor put in her/his address they will send them free acai berry chewing gums! I bet they will later spam the hell out that person but they will probably sign up for a free sample no? And I get like $30 for each sign up...

I'm looking for advice on the other side of the fence. I have a website and sell tangible goods, but want to set up an affiliate program so that IM's can make money by driving customers to our site. Any suggestions on the better affilate programs that can manage this process for us with good success? Thanks

Maybe something like Click2sell.eu could handle this for you. There is a forum section for them here:

Click2Sell Promo Center - Niche Choppers VIP Earners Club

There are 3 different types of ways to implement an affiliate program:

And click2sell.eu cater for digital, material and subscription based products... so might be something to look into.

I don't think you should completely discount amazon just yet. Listen to this podcast. The guy on there gives a lot of good info on how he makes his money as an amazon affiliate. He made almost a mil in amazon comissions.
