Hi All,

Joined about 5 days ago, took me a while to look around and get a feel for things.
This is the first forum I have ever joined, up until now just surfed the internet blindly.
I tried a couple of those get rich schemes, but only got broker, so now decided to try
affiliate marketing. I have been studying everything I can get my hands on, and then
found this forum and decided to join. Hope to learn what I need to know to succeed
in this business, and earn some money and get out of debt! I work nights, so I will only
be online from 1:30 AM to 3:00 AM , and around 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM M-F . This is
partly why it took me so long to get situated and make this post. Hope to get to know

Welcome jroberts52 - with affiliate marketing you can always go at your own pace and work at times suitable for you. The key is to have a firm grasp of the basics and then simply apply things when you can. Always look to be making some progress after you understand the basics.

The internet is full of get rich quick schemes, but if something appears too good to be true then it normally is too good to be true. Most of those schemes rely on multi-level-marketing and succeed for a while as new members come on board. Eventually the schemes plateau and get exposed and collapse (only to relaunch under a new name and the whole cycle is repeated).

The only way to make money online is to get doing some work. Affiliate marketing makes it easier for you to find products to sell for decent commission. There are many other ways to make money, but affiliate marketing has some of the lowest barriers to entry available as there is no stock to hold and no expertise required from the outset.
