HOWDY! I am newer than new

Howdy! My name is Todd and I am newer thann new. I got started 3 weeks ago when I learned that you can make money placing ads on google. I bought copyNprofit and did NOT study the program, I just copied all these campaigns and dumped them into Adwords. Both Adwords campaigns are paused right now. I made $250. I spent $1,500.00. I am no math scholar, but the figures appear to be bad, real bad.

Wife does not believe in this online job, I am supposed to prove her wrong today. I have until 10pm to put $400 in my clickbank account. I went back to the copyNprofit system this morning and watched every video and read the e-books. Then I read Norb's ad for this site, and copyNprofit guys had a link to get here, and they endorse it - I am ready to learn and help those around me once I learn for myself.

Any pointers on making $400 by 10p tonight? Seriously, I have to prove to the wife it can be done - I have to match what i used to make with my real job. Otherwise i gotta get a real job tomorrow. Which is stupid, because i am gonna quit in two weeks anyway after I get up to speed here.

And no, my wife is very nice, thanks for noticing. haha

$400 in a few hours. hmmm. well you could try and borrow someones list!? huhu. sell 5 or 6 forex products and you'll be laughing.

you really need to learn a bit more before you can start bringing in 400 bucks on demand tho hah.

I like your positive attitude - I can be patient and learn - oh yes we will definitely try to get some of that coin back from google.

Piece of advice for ya! Stay away from PPC for now. Learn how to market properly before giving big daddy G all of your Jack.

Start off in the kiddie pool before you try and swim with sharks. Read Lemonarians stuff and apply it, it's slow and steady but it works. Get the hang of that and then add PPC.

Hi Todd, welcome to this community.

I admire your frank approach and the expectation that you can make $400 in a few hours on your first day in the internet marketing jungle.
My own mistakes have taught me the hard and expensive way that it would be wise to follow adorton´s advice above: stay away from PPC for now and build your business from the ground up.

Welcome to the forum Todd... and you certainly learned about the dangers of PPC when not having any experience using it. The method you used is geared towards quickly finding profitable campaigns by running at a loss and gradually removing underperforming ad groups. The other way is to start small and build up, but it also has its downfall of only slowly building up quality score.

PPC can be highly profitable, but does require money and experience to make it work for you while article marketing requires time and experience to get it working. Both methods of making money do work, but both also require experience. The $400 is possible in a day, but not without experience and knowledge of the basics... once you have the basics in place and have started listbuilding then future promotions can achieve your desired goals.

A real job in the short-term can help ensure all bills get paid while you learn the basics and gradually shift to full-time online marketing. It isn't something that will happen overnight, but is definitely possible.

Welcome to Niche Choppers; I am probably newer than you but your wife probably knows what's she's talking about. I'm sure it can be done but I have an all day job and very little time when I get home. Hope you make more than you have spent already.
