Vacation Time - Who's coming with me?

Hey, so... NEW YEARS!

Who's going to make a vacation of it?

The girlfriend and I are heading down to Mexico inj about 8 days for 2 weeks.

Cons: Tickets are like.. 3x more expensive then after New Years.

Pros: New Years in Cancun? The biggest party you'll ever see happening. In your life.


This is going to clear my head, and I can start actually utilizing the knowledge I have stored in my head, and dominating these products and marketers [ no offense ]

... Being Russian, that's IF I don't get alcohol poisoning. And that's a 50/50 chance.

Who's heading out of their comfortable homes to do some vacation/partying?


PS - I need to make a few of the days/nights romantic. I already got the picnic/view and the paying some cholo more than he's made in a year to take us on some romantic boat-related thing. If anyone's got suggestions, I'm a useful contact to have for the future

i'm already in sunny New Zealand catching up with friends and family and relaxing ... taking a bit of a breather from this IM stuff so i can come back with a clear head in 09 ... soooooooo much warmer than grey old London ... loving it!!

i started my vacation and had one of my best weeks for sales ever ... bonus!!

I wish I lived closer to Mexico. I went to Riveria Maya for my Honeymoon this year. We went to a Casa Margarita in a Mall in Cancun. There was an aquarium with Dolphins in the Mall. The food was great in the Casa Margarita, not sure if it is a chain.

Go to Tulum if you get a chance. Lovely beach.

Nah, it all depends where you're going and what you do, India is dangerous because of terrorism, USA has a LOT of criminals as well, Colombia, See what's happening now in Greece?, Spain has it's own terrorists as well, a lot of countries, Mexico has its own issues as any other place on Earth just don't go somewhere like Juarez or The North Border :S

Yea, last time I was in Mexico and was talking to some European chick, she was terrified to find out I was from Canada where the tram bombings took place. These kinds of countries are generally less dangerous. Plus we all know that Mexicans are lazy
