Just curious if any of you dabble in forex trading?

If so, I'd love to hear what your experience has been like.

    Default Forex trading? ME?

Considering that I once thought Forex was a brand of condom... I'd have to say I don't trade in the Forex markets. But considering all the recent interest and activity... I am wondering if any of Norb's products are suitable for noobs. and if so can I get a review copy?

Yes! It's a very volatile market. You can make money very quick, and you can also lose money very quick.

It's kind of like the casino where the brokers always have an advantage depending on their spread. So when you open a new trade and their spread is 2 pips, then you will start in the hole 2 pips right off the bat. But if you have done your research, and know that the currency is going to drop or raise very soon from whatever news, and you make your trade in good time, you will make money

Would I trust an EA with my money? absolutely but only after atleast a month of demo forward testing.

I have a test account running with Boomerang. Started it Sunday with $500. Yesterday the account was up to $930. This morning it was as $450. Hit a few bad trades last night...

Not real money ATM. Just a demo account. I'm letting it run for 30 days or so to see how it performs before I throw real money into it.

    Reallly cool! just a tip

    Wallerblog,
I just use two words: "setting stops"

Believe me, we went on a Tuesday til Friday for a mini vac to the beach, and normally I'm in front of the computer when I trade. That time I forgot to set a stop with my Euro/Dol trade and when I came back Friday night, market was closed of course, I had been kicked out and lost over $10,000 in 3 days.
And I knew better about setting stops. It only takes one time and it goes so fast.
I had 5 positions and only the bottom one triggered the situation.

If I had set stops, I would have only canceled 2 out of 5 automatically, because the next week the course reversed and I would have made good money on the remaining three.

It goes faster than you can react some times, any world event can trigger a loss of 30, 60 or 100 pips and your money is gone without a stop, or with a sudden drastic turn like this, you still can get pushed past your stop.

It is like casino gambling but you have some control functions and overall can change the odds in your favor.

    be careful live trading.......
