?? I dun get it.....?? Not sure I belong here anymore

    Hi Folks,

it's been ages since I've been in here. I have to say I was initially attracted to NicheChoppers cause Norb's Canadian...I'm just a hop skip and jump from Toronto, and lived there myself for 22 years before settling in the Niagara Region in 2000.

I'm embarrassed actually because I have not generated any sales for NicheChoppers. I am busy with my own thing and my own little projects - what does that tell you? And I recently split with a man in my life so I've had to step up and bring in all the income for my son and I. It's actually been exciting because I'm starting to come out of my comfort zone a bit.

Here's where my head is at. I respect Norb a lot...but...

I am a WordPress lover so, even though I may not generate money for the various affiliate programs that Norb has going on, I will be happy to continue to answer questions about WordPress to the members here. The projects I have going on are building niche blogs (get rich slowly) fill them with ORIGINAL content, no PLR at all...and once the blog has tons and tons of indexed content, good traffic stats, some income coming in, then I'll sell the blog for big money.

    Think Bankaholic.com

Now grant it, that was a once in a lifetime deal. But that story really inspired me, because that is what I love to do. I love blogging. I love building niche blogs. Besides my own domain, I own six others each at various stages of development. I think affiliates can make huge money from blogs if they do it right.

So...Norb, am I still welcome here, even though I'm your worst affiliate?

You actually give good advice........so stick around......haha, pop in when you have the time, and you never know when one of Norb's banners can be put below the fold in some inconspicuous spot to make a sale

Affiliate marketing isn't the only way to make money online... and some affiliates who may struggle to make money could find blogging as an alternative method. In that sense, advice is always useful to help those people make the most of things.

thanks everyone, for making me feel welcome. Yes, blogging is a cool way to make money, whether it's passively or a little more aggressively. I've made money selling my own services, my own products, and there are people who've paid to advertise on my blog. That kind of money is really cool cause it's totally passive.

The one thing I fully get is that you really need to have multiple streams of income. And there are so many opportunities to do that online. The trick is to pick the right ones for you.

so so true ... there are so many ways to make money online ... and even though you may not be making money selling norb's products, i'm sure a lot of the more general advice on this forum is still useful to you, as your non-norb specific advice is still useful to us

so great to see you're sticking around :d

    Karen,

Ironically, I was thinking about you earlier this week and wondering if you had left the site for good. I was planning to email you this week before I leave for the holidays.

Before you further consider leaving, I want to share something.

You were one of the first people I spoke to when I came to this site a few months ago. To date, your blog linked in your signature is the first and only thing I have ever subscribed to via RSS and I continue to pay very close attention to your various posts about Wordpress, your blog strategy, but most importantly your idea of selling the real you and maintaining integrity in your dealings. In fact, it is in part why I now use my real first name as my user name on these forums and that philosophy is an integral part of a very big project that I am currently working on.

I think you have much more to offer here than you give yourself credit for and I do hope you will decide to stay. Who knows, perhaps a product will come along in the near future that you will be interested in promoting or maybe we just need a resident Wordpress expert!

    Peter

    Karen,

Been on vaca, juggling 50 things, sorry for the delay in my personal response but I think the others pretty much sum up my absence well.

Do you still belong here? Let's break down what 'here' is, at least in my eyes... This is like a tiny litte iddy bitty corner boutique community of the web. Even though it's a support forum for the NC line-up, it has attracted many beautiful minds, hearts, personalities and creative souls (and a few bad apples which we like to chopchop out of the loop). You are one person that doesn't and don't think will ever be chopped or looked poorly upon for any reason in or out of this game, you seem pure and genuine, and I love integrity...

Honestly? It makes no difference to me whether you're promoting our newest banger or penis enlargement packs or newspapers or bongs or books or blogs or anything else to be a part of the fam. This place is simply packed and growing with great input and knowledge, without any $7 sneaky shit or PM ME or /bumps, in fact the members themselves have learned to protect us/them quite fast, because many have been there/done that and just want a normal productive/progressive atmosphere to jive in while staying focused on their goals.

    Sooner or later you will run into an offer you won't be able to refuse to promote, and or there will be new sections (SHHH) happening when we do our next stint/site that connects with this one (another SHHH) which is happening soon. Seems growth is unavoidable now and the foundations that have made this place are there for a reason, far beyond the product line. It's not the products, it's the people, which turn into partners, which mingle with other successful people here behind the scenes, etc. in a professional manner... It would be crappy to lose a great member just because the products don't line up with your current ventures;

    Conclusion?

    Please don't go anywhere!

**Come to think of it, this goes to anyone that is on the fence about the line-up or had a hiccup/lurked/left, please get involved and mingle/contribute, someday you'll thank yourself as you continue to attract more good people by virtue of displayed leadership and good reads by those good people... I'm rambling now:

    NC.

I kinda know what you mean, I've always felt a lil guilty drawing help from this community considering I've cracked only a few FX funnel sales in my life, the pharma niche keeps me occupied full time :| not to mention I don't even post much here anymore...(Till date I don't know why I'm even a VIP, prolly a misclick or something xD

But I guess anyone with useful info would be welcome as long as they give it unconditionally, so I'll take this opportunity to let you guys know that you can PMz me for any info/help regarding selling health niche products, I've been doing it all my life and be glad to help, pay something back to this community that's helped me so much.

All the best kids, keep smiling

I don't think that that is what it's all about here.
You don't see me talking to other people to join and saying it's so you can sell norbs products.
This forum is a little different, sure he has his products, but it isn't a demand on anyone to sell them. We all have different things going on, I love to sell forex, that's probably why I come in here. But in reality, if I didn't sell forex products I would be here only to be around people I trust and know very well.

I haven't been around for a while. I think people know my job takes up 75% of my time and the other is barely getting on long enough to finish my e-book coming out very soon... I want to finish that ebook so I might be able to relax for a bit until I do my next one and so on and so on.

I think the forum here is a little bit different then what you think it is. In fact this place can become what you want it to be for yourself. Talk about wordpress, tell others your stories. When the word here starts to flow that your a wordpress queen and you have all the answers people are going to start telling others to come to you for advice. Make this forum somewhere you enjoy being. Don't think you have to sell Norbs stuff to be here, I don't think he would like the people in his forum to feel this way at all.

In fact it makes my uncomfortable thinking you feel this way. I hope you stay and find your own voice here and not worry about weather you sell products from here or anywhere else for that matter. From what I see you have helped people here and that's what is most important.

I hope to learn more about wordpress from you here
It is better to be thought of a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
