Default Who the F**K registered Forex-Phantom.com?! Tell me!

    Oi whoever the little bugger

Has just registered Forex-Phantom.com thanks because I just registered as well and I have not got the domain but they took my money!

I had it ready to register for the last hour or so and was waiting until I had enough funds in paypal to register it and in that time someone stole it :'(

And I went to register it and someone else must of done it at the same time now I am left with no money and no domain

Guessing Godaddy will give me my money back hopefully.

Important note about registered domain names:

All of the contact information, by policy and standard, is freely available for all to see. You can elect to have it hidden by using the privacy service like the one they offer at godaddy, using company contact information, or by simply putting false information. I strongly suggest you avoid the last option because it could result in you losing your domain if legitimate contact information is not supplied and you get caught.

Link to the ICANN advisory concerning domain whois information collection and maintenance as well as penalties:

    Thanks Peter.

But if people really want everyones info, they can whois a domain themselves. Posting it out on a high ranking forum, for 1000nds to see, isn't fair without consent IMHO.

Wouldn't you be pissed if you typed your name in google to find on the first page all your details? I've been hit with identity fraud 2wice, and im only 19, lets not make it easier for the bastards.

    Cheers,

    Ashley

Ha I didnt mean for this thread to turn out so bad. Was just messing around wondering who took MY domain

It seems he only lives about 30 minutes away from myself, I will have to hunt him down.

    Anyways, thanks.

Hey we're in the same club! I've been hit once too.

I'm in full agreement that we shouldn't make it any easier! In fact, I meant that as a warning to folks who are not familiar with registering a domain name and may not be aware that their personal info is freely available. Sorry for communicating the wrong message!

    Epic Failure

What the feck is going on here then? Seems like I missed all the excitement.

Sometimes we all forget (because it is so friendly here) that most of us are in direct competition.

I don't quite know how two people can register the same name, especially as it seems we both use godaddy. Willy you need to strike quickly, don't sit around for an hour.

I have nothing to hide, so I don't bother hiding my address details when i register a domain, thanks Ash for taking my address down, I think that was a bit out of order posting it in the first place especially considering Puravida knew it was me.

Anyway, lets look forward to March and see if Phantom can be as successful as Boomerang seems to be.

    LMAO!!!!!!!

come on, think you over reacted a bit dude - doesn't take much brain power to work out my forum ID from my real name does it! I had assumed you wrote
here is the new owner of your forex phantom domain

    JIMZ! lol.
but I suppose that might have been Ash.

not sure what basta means, could you explain.

    and
    basta is like
    that's it or
    it's over

sorry, I speak only 4 to 5 languages and sometimes
words slip out and get mixed up
