I am promoting a product atm which is bringing me in quite a few sales (4-5 a day 8+ fri sat n sun). Then the other day I checked and I had 6 sales all from the same customer, he then emailed me saying that he loved the product and was happy I let him know about it, although he thought it was rather expensive!
So I emailed him back (coz im a nice guy) saying he should email the product owner because he may have been charged more for it than was necessary.
I received no further reply from him, but today I see that he has bought another product from the same publisher item number 4 (normally it is 6). I think this is a bit strange because he shouldn't be paying for something else, so I see what it was that he bought so i type in the whole 4.XXXX.pay.clickbank.net and it says that product is no longer sold! This is only a few hours after the sale.
So all that being very strange I thought it was also strange that he had paid for the new thing on a mastercard (when the previous 6 were split; 1 on a paypal account 5 on a visa) and then while he seems to be a resident of NV (I assume Nevada?) he has been paying in euro!
All very strange to me and he has yet to refund the 1st 6 sales but I suppose that could be in processing.
Anyway to cut a long story short; if he charges back will I, as the affiliate, lose anything other than the money gained from the sale?
Also wtf do you think is going on here? I originally thought that maybe someone had stole his identity (being that he is american but paying in eur) and thought this was a good way to funnel the money into their account, but then I realised that I am the major beneficiary of this (I hope cb dont think it was me) so that couldnt be it.
Overall very confused but if he does not complain I can be up a nice little wedge (hey there is nothing I can do about it now I have told him to email the publisher so my conscience is clear as the bright blue sky).
Well thats it, have a good day
Jimmy
P.S Just looked over this post, man I use brackets far too much!
