?? I dun get it.....?? Hi everyone and a question

This is my first post and I sure hope you don't mind me asking, but something is really bugging me.

I set up a PPC campaign with Yahoo promoting a Clickbank product. I made 1 sale six days in a row, something like October 30 - November 4. I thought I was actually doing something right, however I haven't had one since. My question is...Is this normal? I didn't change anything. My profits I made are pretty much gone, and I'm a little frustrated. Thanks for any replies and I hope to be able to contribute here. All the best to everyone, Bob

    Hi

It would be good if you did an introduction before asking questions.

To be honest, Clickbank has been having problems recently (they have admitted that some hops are not being tracked properly)

In addition to that unless you are sending a decent amount of traffic, 100 hops a day it is difficult to work out if it is a trend or a problem. The other issue is that Google keeps playing around with things and a few of my sites have yo-yo up and down the results over the last few months.

P.s. consider the intro post buddy, you will get more response and help then.

Welcome Bob, thanks for coming correct.

    * Clickbank (all networks) will experience fluctuation, tracking issues/speedbumps etc. The fact that you got 6 days of blessings is definitely an indicator that you did something right.

    * Many things can happen with campaigns/streams for many reasons. More importantly though, you managed to prove it works, and can now expand/replicate.

    * In order to become a great marketer (imo), or self employed entrepreneur, is to free up time. Which is the hardest obstacle for people because they learn through trial and error in very small increments.

    * Next time you have a batch of free time, absorb what you can on the top level here and deploy your efforts with some diversity re your outreach campaigns. Don't read too much before implementing though, act more and utilize your time well enough so that you can grow/analyze growth/learning curve in a smooth manner with big increments.

Hope this helps, and I look forward to your participation.

**Norb crits you with 11tybillion points of excellent advice**

I can't tell you how true this is. I've spent way too much time buried in the forums here and elsewhere reading and researching and didn't pull the trigger until recently. I now have a PPC campaign going with a decent landing page and people are hopping it at a pretty reliable 70%ish rate. It's a great feeling to have a couple things going finally.

Welcome to the forums Bob! Everyone is eager to help here so you'll find what you want/need.

Keep thinnking positively, Bob. There are sooooo many variables involved in a PPC campaign that it's often difficult to "know" why something did or di not happen. If it helps... you are not alone. I too have suffered a significant drop in sales since 11-2-08 following nearly a month of the best success I've ever had with CB.
Sometimes you just have to keep going... like that little blue fish in "Finding Nemo" says... "Just Keep Swimming"
