Default So, who's a fitness nut here?

I'm sitting here, procrastinating going to the gym [it's leg day, the most painful workout of all], and I'm curious.

Is there anyone who's heavy into bodybuilding, any form of sport, etc? I mean, I know each and every internet marketer has to get SOME form of exercise, especially since sitting on your butt for a few hours a day isn't exactly healthy.

I wouldn't classify myself as a "nut," however I do work out.

I'm only 19 so still in college and do a three day a week powerlifting type schedule.

    I'm ~145lbs .. bench 150, dead 315, squat 230, and overhead press 100 atm. Nothing too great

I'm a bit of a gym nut. I used to do the three-day-split weightlifting routine, but in the past year I've really gotten into CrossFit (Welcome to CrossFit: Forging Elite Fitness).

I started University in September. I'm quite small (5"8) and was like 12.5 stone. In August I realised I couldnt go to Uni being slightly fat.

I started jogging around 2 miles four days a week.

Now im at uni i do like 4-8 hours a week in the gym. Since August I've lost 1.5 stone and my arms are starting to beef up.

I even bought truthaboutabs on clicbank, they had some good stuff on there.

I take whey protein, creatine, multi-vits, fish oils, green tea caps, and when cutting, ephedrine, though only for a short while since it's the only non-natural supplement I use.

I do skipping for about an hour a day and sometimes go for a run also, just started boxing training again.

I used to take whey protein too vadym when i was boxing but i stopped boxing for about 2 years and put on loads of weight. I was under the impression that whey protein was pure protein and did not put any weight on you, apart from enhance muscle obviously. i got really fat but to be honest i might have just been eating too much.

i'm about 6'2" and 2 years ago i was over 17 stone, as much as i'd like to think a lot of it was muscle i think i was just a fat git.

Now i'm about 14 and a half, i'll be happy at around 13.

Protein, especially whey as opposed to whole foods [chicken breast], is high in calories, which is why you put on the weight. You were simply having more calories in than out. I generally take my 1.3g protein per body pound, 25% of calories from fats, and the rest are for carbs, with 60% eaten pre-workout, and 40% post-workout.

I supplement protein and fat. For protein I usually go with whey, but I've also tried a hemp protein powder. I like it in smoothies and oatmeal. I supplement fat with hemp oil, flax oil, and fish oil. Usually I just randomly pick one and mix it in with some eggs or a salad.

I sound like most of you. Last year I really beefed out to almost 200lb from my average 170 through a rigorous bodybuilding routine with the help of whey protein powder. Unfortunately I am on and off; I train consistently for 4 months and then sit stagnant for 6 months. I just repeat that same process over and over again.

Check It Out! Working out for health and fun.

I do workout at least six days a week. I am not a super buff hero. But I am in good shape. I do power walk at least a mile everyday. Great for circulation and cardio.
