Gettin' in the VIP

I've spent the past few days really reading everything here at the NC forums. Especially the commentary of the admin, mods and uber mod.
As a not so new newbie, I understand and completely agree with the way you run this board. You manage to keep it both fair and fun, not a simple nor easy task.
But I am left with a bit of a dilemma...
I feel I have little "of value" to offer. After all there are vastly more experienced PPC marketers here. The guy that wrote the BUM marketing manual is here. Building sites, mini's, squeezes, LP's and such? I can't hold a mouse next to Norb. There are more, "better than I" programmers here than I can shake a stick at. I'm humbled by the copywriters abilities. Considering I only recently got my first CB sale, I can't even wrap my head around a $1000 day. I could go on but you should have a clear picture by now.
So my question is this... what do you want to know? I maybe can answer some of it (I often suprise myself at what I remember!).
Barring my being able to answer something that's been puzzling you I don't know what I can "give back" that you'll find valuable.
That said, I still hope to qualify for the VIP someday, even if I have to pay to get in.

Hi BOP, look focus on what you0re really good at and try to find out what this forums needs, there are still a lot of topics that haven't been posted or discussed here yet, so ask yourself... what would I like to read or learn that hasn't been posted in here, and if you share it and its really valuable you could make it to the VIP with all of us

You are the 4th person this weekend that has asked to get in the VIP - others have PM'd me regarding this too...

I appreciate you posting this here and not PM'ing me personally to ask me to add you - thank you that's a great start.

Unfortunately nobody can buy their way into the VIP, that would kind of defeat our purpose. You know - I look at this forum and wish there was 10 more of me that could add 100's of topics and discussions in order to catch the admins/mods eyes.

You don't have to be the greatest marketer on the planet to get in there. You do have to be a great, positive, community contributor with leadership skills. Even a very detailed simple guide on how to structure a review page or how to make a logo or how to edit a video or or or or - this place doesn't need puffy chested know it alls as much as it needs competent and able minded leaders with a great attitude and a desire to help with whatever they are good at - you are probably great at 12 things you don't give yourself enough credit for, including people skills (i.e. writing a 'how to network' 'how to use people skills to sell' etc. guide could get you in there easily).

Cheers and with your approach to this I don't think it will be long before you post some greatness and get VIP'd. **Also - unless you post an absolute bomb that the community loves, you must have 100 posts and 100 rep minimum to be considered, and out of those 100, at least a few GOLDEN posts.

It's ironic that you posted this as it is exactly the way I feel. Though I'm eager to reach the VIP forums, I've resigned myself to the fact that it will happen when it's meant to happen. In fact, I feel that trying to reach the VIP forums will only delay me getting there because it would interfere with the natural progression and growth that I need to realize before I'll be able to offer something unique and worthwhile to this community.

I enjoy the feel of this community and chatting with other members so not getting into the VIP section isn't a letdown, it's just part of the journey. I am content with the fact that in the near future, I will be able to assist others and offer my own resources. Until then, I will continue to work hard and participate where I am able.

Don't get hung up on getting VIP status. It is obviously good to be a VIP and there are some great advantages, but it will come when it comes.

Thanks for the good advice everyone. I guess for a little while I was in "instant gratification" mode. And Norb did give me an idea... again!
